Ocala Regional Medical Center

I'm a regular (this was my 11th procedure of this type) and know a lot of the nurses in the Outpatient section by name. The nurses do a great job. Nurses Gina and Lori took great care of me as always. Steven the anesthetist was great. The usual hold up is in Registration; however, this time the procedure was scheduled for the early morning instead of late morning. Overall a great job by everyone!

I went to ORMC for an outpatient test. I was taking back by the bathroom and how disgusting it was. The floors and baseboards looked like they never been clean and the grab bars looked scary and were hanging out of the wall. I passed administration on the way down and was surprised being so close to administration that it looked so bad. When I was leaving I asked the valet that had a golf cart if he could take me to my car because my knees were bad and he said that isn't what he is there for. I found this to be very rude and unprofessional especially being the supervisor. He stated they had free valet. I did not use this service because I do not want strangers in my car driving it. Besides the place not being very clean and the rude valet the equipment looks to be very dated, old and run down compared to other facilities I have been to. The dept I was getting my procedure done had 3 cameras which only 1 of them was up and running causing a delay in my test. How can a facility be spending so much money in expanding and have such old equipment to work with? That all being said, the staff from registration to the staff doing my test were all very pleasant.

I have been to the Mericamp ER several times due to recent medical issues..all the Doctors, nurses, techs in x-ray, paramedics and security have been wonderful! I would fully recommend this ER to anyone in bed of treatment. May God bless them all! Thanks again for all off your caring and kind words❤

Doctor and Nursing care is exceptional. All my nurses were caring and gave me top care. My only complaint is the food for patients. When in the hospital it is important for the healing process to have nutritious fresh food. The food served was over cooked and looked unappetizing. The vegetables had water, from cooking, pooled on my plate. Hire a chef, not just a nutritionist. In this day and age we all know how important it is to eat well!

I was there for outpatient surgery. The entire staff was fantastic from the moment of my arrival....friendly, caring, professional and very attentive until my discharge. I’ve had numerous surgeries and this one was an exceptionally positive experience. Thank you!!
