Everyone has been friendly but I don’t like how they don’t discuss doing test with the family when the patient is not alert. All hospitals do this and don’t really present choices for the patient and family. I feel there were things that could have been monitored better like blood sugar levels. But no hospital is perfect and overall it was a okay experience. Ochsner has easy access for family to visit so that’s why we come here.

Doctor seemed unconcern about me. Did not listen to me. She did very little to address my concerns. She told me to follow up with my primary doctor( who I gave her her name and what town she was in) she failed to listen then and put a doctor from North Carolina. My doctor and myself are from Oklahoma. On blood thinners and she failed to even check for possible bleeds. Thank God my Doctor cares and is in the process of helping me.

Everyone is very nice and helpful. Everything is well kept & clean. I look forward to my weekly routine bloodwork

Terrible and awful I would not allow the people I hate get treatment from there! Please please don't ever come here it's the worst place on earth, you think the DMV is hell on earth no nope it's this hospital everyone has time for everything else besides their patients and the ER doctors DONT listen I came in for one problem and all the way up till I was about to be discharged they thought it was completely something else which I don't know how you can call yourself a doctor and not listen .

Incorrectly diagnosed twice in this emergency room even after explaining that I had asthma and was having pain in my chest and difficulty breathing. I was sent home twice with no treatment and advised to rest. I went to Baton Rouge general and was diagnosed with a severe upper respiratory infection and given steroids to boost my lung function. I started feeling better quickly after that. I contacted ochsner to advise them of the missed diagnosis and was advised that they basically weren’t going to look into it, and were still going to bill me for both visits. This hospital could have killed me if I followed their advice and didn’t know better. Avoid this place at all costs.
