I don't care about any negative words about this great hospital....bar none the best around....great health Care staff and that fourth floor staff is the best.... I was here as a heart attack patient and these great people saved my life...never once did they fail to impress me from the Cath to the cardiac to emergency... unbelievable people....I felt like I was being taking care of by a friend....AMAZING!!!!!

I prefer this hospital because I have had a good experience here. I was sad to see it so unattended. I recently went to visit my sister which just had surgery and when I walked in there was a nurse and a security officer . I asked if they could tell me in what room my sister was in and none of them could. They both told me to go to the second floor and ask. I thought that was why there was a computer on his desk for information. My mistake. I did see the lobby area dirty full of dust. Like no one cleans there. Doesn't smell clean. Then the front area is also not being taken care of. The playground is great love that but there is a huge ball that supposed to be a water feature but it's dry and full of pigion poop. The entrance windows along the ramp dirty and doors too. I think someone in charge should hire a landscaper to take care of the area and make it look nice, clean, sanitary, etc. I was surprised that orh would look this bad .

I recently had an ER visit followed by a near week long stay at this facility. I am extremely impressed by the speed and attentiveness of every single nurse I came into contact with. DR. SOSA the Doctor who attended me went above and beyond to make me as well as my family comfortable and informed of treatment and progression. I will highly recommend this hospital and staff. Everything wasnt perfect but it was very professiinal with exceptional caring.CT Imaging room was a bit crazy the a.m. I went but still treated so nicely and with respect. Kathy Farber Odessa,Texas

As I am sitting here at the female health office on the 2nd floor, I am in wonder and awe. How a place in this ugly town of Odessa could resemble a beautiful medical plaza with well kept grounds like the ones I've seen in Houston. Fully impressed. Everyone I talked to is nice. Maybe look out for people who look lost so you can direct them, that would be the only change I'd make. It is like a maze now, though, much like MD Anderson is.

Highly recommend this hospital. I have had three babies here and I also work here. I've been with ORMC for 26 years that should tell you how I feel about the hospital. I feel we give excellent care to the community. We are a family working together to make your experience a great one! In my opinion, this is the only place I would go to for my healthcare needs.
