The hospital is small in a good way, very quiet peaceful, and clean. The building looks new, the patient rooms are spacious. The nurses are very nice and take excellent care of the patients. The food is very tasty with good variety.

I'm sorry, after waiting for two hours, we found out it would be much, much more time. We were the only one in the waiting room, and were never called. We politely let them know we would just go somewhere else, they actually asked for our insurance information. I politely declined. I can't believe they wanted to bill our insurance for sitting in a waiting room. If it's going to take five hours, be upfront about it, others time is valuable too!

Had A+ care. Came in with intense pain. After diagnosis, emergency surgery was performed that night. Great surgeon (Dr. Scott Davis). The hospitalist is Dr. Constantine, and he also is terrific. I felt confident in the care I was receiving. We are lucky to have this hospital here in Ojai.

Doctors are professional and qualified. The entire staff was helpful. Facility is clean. My negative experience came from their financial department. I received two stitches on my thumb after an accident at work. I was told by their financial department that my companies insurance would cover the bill. 6 month later I received a bill from a collection agency for 600 $ whom when I called let me know that Ojai Community Hospital had filed the claim against me. I never received a phone call or a letter from them. I then check with my companies insurance and was informed that the hospital had filed a claim with then as well for a thousand dollars and was trying to pull money from both the insurance company and myself. I am very disappointed in their lack of communication and serious inflation of their collection amounts and underhanded techniques.
