We had our baby on May 10th. We had the most amazing experience. The nurses were wonderful! We had Elsa and Angela. They were compassionate, helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable. We couldn't have asked for a better birth experience. I highly recommend their maternity ward. They listened to all of our concerns and respected our birth plan. We had about and hour and a half of skin to skin contact after my son was born. Nobody rushed us, they encouraged us to bond. My husband cut the cord and Elsa took pictures for us on our phone. What a wonderful day!
Best emergency experience I've had. The Doctors here are very professional and really listened to everything I was saying. They also answered every questions I had regardless of how silly they might have been. Very satisfied with the care I've received. Thank you Dr. Trione
I was here being treated for blood poisoning, lung infection, and a blood clot. On day 3 of my stay a security guard walks into my room without any notice and announces that he is going to search my room and begins rifling through my stuff. I told him I did not consent to a search and felt it was a violation of a privacy and his response was that it’s a hospital so he can do it if he wants to.
After they got done rifling through all my belongings I went ahead and discharged myself because I was appalled at the lack of respect that I was given at this place. Their reasoning for going through my belongings was, “patient safety” but it was done without any warning and o be honest if it’s a normal thing and for safety then why did they wait til the 3rd day of my stay to do this?
I feel extremely violated and will follow up with the necessary entities to make complaints.
They do not deserve even one star. My daughter can be a handful but what they did was criminal. A few years ago my adult daughter had surgery and they brought her up to her room. She stayed a couple of days. They over medicated her in recovery AND up in her room to the point she would wake up gasping for air. They said she was having a panic attack. Most likely because she does not handle pain well and the abuse to quiet her started in recovery. No she was over medicated to the point her oxygen level was dropping and when she woke up gasping it was because SHE WASNT BREATHING! Here is THE REALLY BAD PART she was not hooked up to a oxygen monitor so we did not know what the problem was until it was almost to late. When her dad and I came back from eating now they had her hooked up to a monitor. So as we watched her continue waking up and gasping for air and we noticed her oxygen level was 65? Her lips were turning blue. I had to run down the hall to get a nurse. No one heard the monitor going off!!. They came to check her and than all the sudden the rapid reaponce team showed up to try to wake her up and had to give her shots to reverse all the med overdose they gave her. My daughter did not want to file a law suit but if it were in my hands I would have.
One more thing....who in their right mind sends the cleaning person in to clean at
1AM??? Pure nightmare.
Dr Ratcliffe has replaced both of my hips (2013/14) and this month, one of my knees. I'm very sad he will be retiring soon, as he's the best at what he does. I had another excellent experience here. The nurses, anasthesiologist, and everyone were just wonderful. The food is really good too and you can order meals anytime during open kitchen hours, uncommon in most hospitals. Highly recommend them.
