I like working with my co workers there. And most of the other employees are easy to get along with as well.

The ER and the medical floor staff is exceptional. The ER admitting personnel are friendly, accurate, and quickly got us ready to be seen. The Nurses, Practitioners and Physicians have proven to be professional, caring, and best of all...accurate. It is important that I mention the Housekeeping crew. We were pleasantly surprised at how consistently detailed the staff maintained daily duties while assisting in maintaining patient comfort and privacy. Keep up the good work. We are proud to say OCH Hospital is ours.

Right off the bat I want to say every one else was great. I went with my mother today, she's had very painful swelling around her knee. Her Dr at the clinic sent her over to have an ultrasound to rule out a blood clot. The ER Dr on call, a thirty something balding man, was EXTREMELY unprofessional and actually laughed at my mother telling her he would not have done the test except that she insisted. Her PCP sent her there and they called over to order the test. What a jerk.

Came for my sons dental surgery. We were instructed to be here by 8:15. They REFUSED to tell us when his surgery would be or even an ESTIMATE of what time it would be. We checked in, went smooth. Taken to our room to wait in tell the procedure. Finally about 9:15 the anesthesiaologist came in to tell us everything was running on schedule and his procedure should start on time at 11:15.... I said why do you have us show up so early, refuse to tell us what time will be. He said “because if people knew they had to wait 3 hours before a surgery they would not show up”. I replied they could give a general idea. Then he replied with “we have people not show all the time and it’s frustrating as a medical team.” He said it was hospital policy and that’s the way it is. He was VERY rude and “matter of fact”. If you don’t like it, go somewhere else. Well, as a parent of a special needs child, keeping a child happy and NO FOOD OR DRINK tell 11:15... It’s NOT ok to withhold information because it’s not convenient for the HOSPITAL!?! What happened to caring about the patient!? MAYBE, the reason people don’t show up is because you REFUSE to tell them the truth. Oh by the way you are required to show up 3 HOURS before your surgery. Give people an option. You lie to them, they don’t show up.

Best hospital in NWA, quick care, no endless hours of waiting. Pulmonary care is outstanding. Saved my sons life and and forever grateful for the amazing staff here at this hospital.
