The ER staff are too notch. Caring, compassionate, kind and extremely attentive. They were thorough in their tests to arrive at a timely and accurate diagnosis. The surgeon and his staff were wonderful and nice. The nurses who tended to me each night were exceptionally patient and empathetic. I would choose this hospital over others in the area I have had to stay in.

The nurses spend more time talking about their personal lives and how many baby daddy's they have than actual time with patients. Keep your personal life details away from the patients......they are in the ER to deal with their own pains and sickness and don't care who us sleeping with who. PROFESSIONALISM......

I went in there in pain, a 10 level of pain. I am a trauma patient, I know what pain is! I also ask if it was ok for me to get a 2nd opinion because I felt my current doc is really dropping the ball. The female doc came in and addressed the pain part, in fact, helped a great deal, but refused my request for another doc to see me. She told me she called the doctor I was with and said she was discharging me so I could go get test done that he wanted. Instead of helping me, I feel she threw me under the bus. It's been a week almost, still in major pain, still have a bag hanging out my side and haven't been able to speak with Doc all week!!!!! I think maybe I need a lawyer, at least everyone I have spoke to about this thinks I should!!! I wish someone with the administration of this hospital would contact me! Thank you, Deborah Bates

Just horrible! I am in the hospital right now and have been here since last night. Came in for bronchial symptoms. Was here a week ago for chest pain. Pretty sure the pain is due to coughing. They kept me overnight so they could do a stress test and just completely ignored the reason I came in. Well of course my chest hurts! I have an upper respiratory infection. Coughing makes you sore! I really just want them to address my breathing and coughing issue but no one will listen to me. I couldn't take my usual meds last night so I can barely walk today and they're ignoring me on that too. The nurse I have here now if awful. You can tell she hates my questioning her about my care as she seems very impatient and condensing. Can't wait till my boyfriend gets off work to come get me ( I really shouldn't drive since I've been feeling faint when I cough) and take me to Weusthoff.
