The ER staff are too notch. Caring, compassionate, kind and extremely attentive. They were thorough in their tests to arrive at a timely and accurate diagnosis. The surgeon and his staff were wonderful and nice. The nurses who tended to me each night were exceptionally patient and empathetic. I would choose this hospital over others in the area I have had to stay in.

My dad urinated himself after I repeatedly requested from a nurse named Heather who implied she would call for assistance, never came. Heather was provided ample notice to assist, I spoke to the charge nurse who assured me this would be addressed, be cautious while using this hospitial, especially the ER. I've never seen a nurse act so pompous and radiate a false sense competency which absolutely didn't reflect with her actions, shame on her. He was in bed #11

When did this ED fall to a standard lower than Sebastian Hospital? Weird how the two hospitals just shifted. Steward Health took over Sebastian Hospital and they must be doing an excellent job to be able to surpass the quality Palm Bay Hospital once was. I will drive the extra 15 minutes to go to Sebastian from today on. Currently in so much pain from an ear infection that possibly has my throat also hurting (only on one side).. and I get “this might be viral”. I think I’m grown up enough to understand when something is infected. My neck and my ear are in so much pain and they don’t care about my pain level.

The nurses spend more time talking about their personal lives and how many baby daddy's they have than actual time with patients. Keep your personal life details away from the patients......they are in the ER to deal with their own pains and sickness and don't care who us sleeping with who. PROFESSIONALISM......

They deserve the five stars. I went in to get a procedure done that ive had done at a different hospital before. Here at the Palm Bay Hospital the Nurse and Phycisions Assistant were so much more caring, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. My procedure was done better here in so many ways. The PA was gentle with the procedure so i indured less pain. He also caringly talked to me throughout the entire process. After i was done i was patched up nicely by the nurse and she provided me with the bandages needed. An entirely different experience from other hospitals ive been at who have treated me very poorly. The other staff was also very respectful and nice. Thank God i chose to go here this time around.
