feedback about Paris Regional Medical Center
PRMC has the worst emergency room in the world I went to the hospital two days in a row and was never seen they would do triage then wait for 4-5 to even get back to a room if you want a good emergency room DO NOT GO HERE!!! I will never go back. Sulphur springs and Mt pleasant are better and better care
I'm writing this as I wait with my dad in the ER. He's a heart patient. We've been in the waiting room for three hours. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and avoid this place at all costs. All the staff is pretty friendly, but the facility as a whole sucks giblets.
Editing my review to add, we finally made it into one of the most disgusting emergency rooms. There's dried blood all over the floor.
I usually never complain or have issues with services anywhere, but I feel I must on this issue. After fighting a cough fever and incredible headache for a week I finally decided to go to the ER. After checking in I went to a room where the RN took my info and left. While waiting on a doctor two different people came in to ask about insurance and money. The DR finnaly checked my lungs with his stethoscope for about thirty seconds and said no pneumonia probably viral and leaves. Another visit from someone about money. An hour later the RN returns with a RX for what is basically robitissin, and I'm done. My blood pressure, throat, ears, or my pounding head where ever checked. I hope others have a better experience but ill chance going to Dallas next time.
I entered Paris Regional Medical Center (PRMC) through the emergency room 🚑on a Friday night. Out of energy, strength & breath. Almost gasping. Had a very poor opinion of both the ER & PRMC due to past experience w/ shoddy treatment of familial members, their use of Hospitalists & a largely transient professional medical staff.
🅱️ut I was pleasantly (& gratefully) surprised how well they handled me (my case) when I was distressed & greatly in need. Though my stay in the ER was a long five (5) hours before admittance on the 5th ♡ floor, they had scanned me, taken several blood tests, given me a preliminary diagnosis, & started treatment that made ME feel BETTER well before I was admitted to PRMC.
📈 I was there from Friday night until Tuesday at 2:00 pm. 💉I was poked, prodded, measured, & tested almost to distraction, yet the nurses' care & attention brought relief, energy & eventually my appetite back.
💊 The 👨⚕️doctors, & especially the 👩⚕️nursing staff definitely WERE courteous, caring & attentive to my needs & requests. I appreciate being actually listened to. Thanks!
⚕️ I am glad you're here for this part of NE Texas. In my book, I got 5★ treatment. Thanks for taking good care of me.
