Person Memorial Hospital

I have never been to a hospital with such a rude staff. It is a sin how patients in ECU and the family is treated. These patients are sick, old and dying. Several nurses need terminated not relocated to other patients after being unprofessional with others. Makes you wonder if empathy was taught in their nursing school or training.

Went to ER tonight for allergic reaction to hair dye waiting area was completely empty and this was my first time ever going to this hospital long story short the intake ladies were rude I waited over an hour before I decided to leave without being seen. The intake ladies were so busy gossiping and laughing and joking that they couldn’t even do their job. Something needs to change with this hospital this was my first and last time going there,I’m from Atlanta and I’ve seen terrible customer service but this was by far the worst experience I ever received not to mention I also have a nursing degree and I would never carry on like this in my place of business.

Don't ever work for this establishment, you never get any hours, and placed on call all the time. The supervisor is insensitive and rude and belittled me as a person. I was terminated after only two call outs on a probationary period, one being I was evicted from my home and pad locked out of my house with no belongings and no where to go and all the supervisor could say was she was sorry for being insensitive but I would have to be terminated because she was tired of her staff working short after putting me on call for a week with no PTO or any way to make up the hours. After one call-out I was talked down to I was told I was not going to embarrass her or make anyone say they told her so in hiring me for a second time after I resigned due to my father passing away last year. The supervisor made me feel guilty and bad for resigning after my father passed way to grieve, and when she allowed me to come back she terminated me after only two call outs while being homeless. I hope no one ever has to endure what I did here, I will be filing a grievance soon against the supervisor, and strongly recommend no one works here on the medical surgical unit the supervising staff are rude and unfair and I hopes this helps someone.

This is the most horrible hospital I have ever been too! This place needs to be shut down. The staff are not friendly and are very rude to patients and their families.
