I have been going to this VA for 5 years. I came from St. Louis VA. I have to say the Phoenix VA has much more to offer. The adaptive sports program has been one of the best things that I've experienced. It has gotten me out of my lazy chair to be active and productive. Rec therapy is also a great program. There are so many things out there like Golden Age Games, sports clinics, and Valor games, to name a few. Doing these things has made my mental health improve immensely. The mental health Dr. That I have is extremely caring and listens to me. I am grateful for the care I receive from Phoenix VA and sorry for those who don't receive the care they deserve.

Best Hospital and Staff hands down. I have had nothing but great care and concern. Love them all and the staff are awesome.

Would really like to review the Phoenix VA Hospital facility but was not able to find a parking spot. Drove around for over a hour looking for a spot to park with no luck. There were 40+ open spots in their Valet parking but access was closed with a sign stating Valet Parking Full. Once at the department that I needed to go to I had already missed my appointment time and was told that I would have to wait for the walking clinic to open and that would be start in a hour. I am now waiting with several veterans for the walking hours to start This is the worst ran VA system that I have seen and the snowbirds are not here yet. When the snowbirds start showing up in the Phoenix VA system the wait for a walk-in clinic can be in access to four hour and some time you are told to come back to the walk in for the next day. Hope I get in today

Do not EVER go here for your comp and pension. 1 person saw me in one sitting for 3 claims, put in 1 and said i canceled for the other two. when in for a nuero claim and the examiner would ask the question. do you ever leave work because of your migraines. answer yes I try to work from home when they occur so i can sit in a mostly dark room or rest when i need. doctors response. now do you work from home because you just dont like being at work or because you have migraines. screw then 10 years of documented migraines i must be lying YES! the whole claim went that way. save your self some time and just see a civilian that wont try to piss you off.

At the VA right now. They're slow but they are doing their job. There's so many veterans that need help and they are trying to help each one but they can only do so much because they are understaffed. The Government need to hire and train more individuals who are willing to serve. I personally am grateful that they even exist.
