Pih Hospital – Downey

The staff here has been incredibly empathetic and supportive throughout our time here thus far. Not an easy time for anyone but they are sure to accommodate and explain everything they need to communicate in an effective and thoroughly concise manner.

The woman at the front desk of the woman’s center are very rude. It took me 20 minutes the other day just to make an appointment. It’s not the patients fault if they don’t like there job . Maybe they should start having more customer service if they want to keep there jobs .

Gave birth in this hospital to my premature baby. Our nurse Dolores was by far so amazing and helpful through out the whole labor. Me and my husband are so grateful for the amazing service they provided us and are currently providing our new born baby.

Horrible service. Poor quality care. My family member went there and they missed his diagnosis sent him home with antibiotics. The doctor didn’t bother to do a full exam or a CT scan. He went to a different hospital and now is going to be hospitalized and may need surgery because they missed his diagnosis. I would NEVER go there personally or take any of my loved ones there. You would be best served going to a bigger hospital with quality doctors. I’m horrified about the type of care he received. The surgeon who saw my family member was appalled that a full exam was not done or a CT scan. STAY CLEAR OF THIS HORRIBLE HOSPITAL!!!

The treatment was excellent would have gotten a 5 star if there were some vending machines. Be sure you eat before you get here.
