I have never had such an experience as I did when I came to this hospital. I have been to my share of hospitals for myself and other over the years. And I must say it is the best care attentive hospital I have ever been to. I was continually checked on from each department I had been to. The bedside matter was out of this world. I would travel out of the way to go to this if it wasn't a life or death matter. I almost had to emergency surgery, thankfully I was made comfortable enough and had an overnight stay where they could treat me so I would not have to go in for surgery. I owe them my gratitude (and a bill, but they work with you on that as well).

Dr. Lu in the ER was awesome with my daughter. So thorough and kind. On top of her results and brushing off none of her symptoms! The nurses and rest of the staff were very sweet as well!

came to emergency room recently in excruciating pain in both of my legs. Sat in ER bed for half hour before anyone came in. NO X-rays, no MRI. They couldn't find out what my pain was from. Gave me some pain medication, unfortunately it didn't decrease the pain. After hours of suffering, they told me they could not find a reason that I am in so much pain. They discharged me and told me to follow up with my primary care physician. I left and went to South Side hospital. South Side did x-rays, MRI, and several tests. They got my pain under control. The nurse made sure I could walk and they allowed me to rest until I felt well enough to be discharged.

Had a minor break to my finger and was told I needed to see a hand specialist, just to be referred to a surgeon in Huntington who specializes in women's plastic surgery; and doesn't even take insurance.

The staff insisted the referral was correct, when a quick google search showed there are 2 ACTUAL HAND SURGEONS right down the block. Absolute incompetence!!!!!

Pretty good hospital in a great location. Parking is available so no real need to look for hours. Staff is generally nice and friendly - I recommend.
