My mother suffered a heart attack the other day. The ER nurse she had was amazing. Her name is Kathy. She was very sweet and, showed lots of concern for me and my mother. The ICU nurses are great too. John and Leena were so helpful and very attentive to my mothers need. I can’t thank them enough. I have 4 stars because once my mother was put on the third floor the nurses were awful. Particularly, Erin. I wish I knew her last name because she really could use some training in bedside manner. She was mean and spoke down to my mother and I. Not impressed at all. Third floor nurses were not very attentive at all. Dr. Gupta is a great cardiologist.

I can’t speak for the rest of the staff in this hospital but I can for the same day surgery staff. I had a knee arthroscopy done on 07/02/2019. It was my first surgery ever. The staff made me so incredibly comfortable. The anesthesiologists were amazing too. They sedated me a bit since I was so nervous but they were so incredibly kind. I’m barely in any pain today. Thank you so much to the nurses there. They went above and beyond to help me post op when I was still sleepy and woozy. Thank you a million times!

Sent a patient who had burns on his left hand to the ER at 12am. There were no other patients waiting and the nurses were at their station making fun of the patient. They gave him nothing for pain and barely looked at the burns on his hand. He also has a rare skin condition and didn't take that into account when treating him. I wish there was another hospital to send the people I see, but they are the closest hospital.

5 years of experience with this hospital. The last year, it seems to have gone downhill. You will often get a very nice nurse/tech/staff, but bad ones do exist. I come here with and for my mother. The cancer center is amazing. 5 stars! The ER and nursing units have given us a lot of trouble. Right now we just had stomach acid and stool leak everywhere because they didn’t have the correct equipment. Previously I’ve had a nurse administer the wrong medication (which was life threatening), one who took bandages off without care and reopened wounds, and another who left my mom to sleep in unsanitary conditions. There were a few other incidents that I won’t go into, but my mom was always too scared to report a bad nurse. She knew nothing would be done and was afraid that they would take it out on her. Mind you, I was there nearly everyday. I can’t image how it would have been if I wasn’t there. Needless to say, anymore I am always by her side so that she has an advocate. I’d recommend, if you can, that you do the same. There really are some amazing people here that do everything they can to help. Give those people extra patience. I guarantee they’re doing their absolute best to help you while juggling a bunch of other patients too. But don’t put up with a bad staff.

If in Canada we would receive the same service in the ER . That hospital was phenomenal and they took care of my wife like gold and I am very grateful. Thank you very much!!
