Two thumbs way down for the condescending and poor customer service given to me.
#1. I called to find out info on an upcoming appt and spoke to a not very knowledgeable young woman, so i let her know id call back later when other staff were in. Later that afternoon, I called again and got the same young woman on the line. I asked her for their fax number and she asked who the patient was so i stated my name. Not realizing it me but thinking someone was calling for me, she starts saying how i was crazy to think they could help me when i havent turned in all my paperwork and on and on. I was shocked. I just asked to be transferred, i had been so sick i wasnt up for an arguement-all i wanted was help.
#2. Dr. Houghs office Area 4: The rudest service anyone could recieve has to be by the short chubby lady with black wavey hair, bangs and glasses. She is condescending, rude, not helpful, not caring, not patient or customer service oriented by any means. She has NO business working with sick patients who need kindness and understanding while being worried about their health and trying desperately to just be seen by a doctor. She would cut me off while, i spoke, she condescendingly spoke in hospital terms (i am a business major, not in the medical field). She gave off a bad vibe and showed no interest in helping or steering towards a positive outcome. Just 3 days later, i was taken into the care of Christus St Vincent for emergency surgery and was treated wonderfully and cared for. I am so thankful that there was another place i could entrust my health with. I will NEVER step foot again or recommend Espanolas Presbyterian to anyone. Go to Christus St Vincent if you want to get your health and life back.
