Excellent facility! Fresh, clean, building. Just has a friendliness to it. Then the people; from the front desk admissions, to the techs in radiology, everyone is helpful and really good at what they do! Everyone seems to work together here!! It is reassuring to know that this facility cares about one another and all are in good hands.
Thank you mmm
The nurses are wonderful! Well trained and competent. The ICU nurses are the best of the best here. They are compassionate and extremely skilled. I could never give enough good reports about them: their dedication and professionalism are second to none.
All of the Nursing staff and the social workers were diligent and dedicated. My sincerest thanks for all they did in caring for my husband, and me, while he was in the hospital.
I am an (otherwise) healthy woman in her early 30s. For the last two weeks, I had been experiencing severe pain.I had gone to my doctor and specialist twice already, prescribed antibiotics, but pain continued to increase. I ultimately, became very nauseous, vomited blood, and I went to the ER, where the doctors completely dismissed my symptoms. They looked at my previous labs and found nothing wrong. I was writhing in pain (8 on 1-10 scale), and the extent of my examination consisted of a palpitation on the stomach. They did not even administer fluids while I sat in pain for hours. They ultimately discharged me with no treatment, and a prescription for ibuprofen (which can cause stomach bleeding after I presented with blood in my vomit!). They referred me back to my old doctor and said you can make it through the weekend. These doctors were dismissive, and ultimately completely ignored my symptoms. I am now sitting at home in the same amount of pain, with no relief and no diagnosis for serious symptoms. This is truly the worst care I have ever received in my life.
My mom has been a patient here for years, today she had a transplant and everything was great. The liver team is outstanding and so helpful and they take such good care of their patients. I have zero complaints about PSL other than construction causing some longer wait times but in the end it'll be worth it I'm sure. I have my mom for many more years to come now and it's all because of the liver team. I am so grateful for the nurses and outpatient staff, we have of course had our ups and downs and didn't vibe with everyone we worked with but some personalities don't match. Even on our worst days they have all been good to us. I love this hospital!
It is never fun being sick. And no one ever wants to end up in the hospital but I have had to go twice in the past 6 months and i was SO incredibly impressed by every single staff member. From the people who helped me check in to all the nurses and doctors I know I am in good hands and that these people truly care about their job and helping others. I could not be more thankful for the care and support I received. If you ever have an emergency and have an option to choose where to go in Denver, I HIGHLY recommend PSL's medical center because these people really care about each individual and they want everyone to get well and be comfortable. THANK YOU MY ANGELS.
