feedback about Presence Saint Joseph Hospital - Elgin
This hospital is the worst! We took my dad into the ER twice and they supposedly ran tests on him and they kept telling him he didn't have anything. The next day we took him to a different hospital and he within an hr he was diagnosed with pneumonia. By that time the infection had spread and he was in the hospital for weeks. How come that hospital was able to detect it and St. Joe's wasn't. Worst medical service ever!! They need to educate their doctors!!
Against my better judgment I went here. I knew not to go towards Elgin area to this disgusting hospital. Dr Muhammad Er doctor doesn’t care about you or what pain you are in. Go to Huntley hospital or Sherman. Area is sickening!
This is by far the worst hospital I have dealt with. The "nurses" are awful and treat you like an uneducated human being. Especially the nurse named Lynette on the 6th floor. she should be fired for the way she treated my family. They treat patients like animals. I am disgusted by the inhumane treatment. I will be filling a complaint with the board.
It's the greatest hospital ever nurse's all of Em I had where amazing except 2 I didn't like there attitudes im always nice never rude except the first 16 hours I was worked up but they knew why but other than that I apologize and the doctors are great doctors but 1 I just didn't like the fact you tell him u don't feel good he wanted to blame it on drinking no doc I didn't feel good my head felt swollen and I was shaking but other than that great and loving kind people work there kitchen it's the best food ever I love the kitchen crew best hospital ever from Marcos Vasquez. Thank all the staff that attended me
I wanted to volunteer here to get hours to add to my resume as I apply to pharmacy school. Everything was flowing smoothly until I needed to make an appointment to receive my tb test and flu shot. I was told to call a specific number to make my appointment which I did. I was not only transferred 6 times but everyone that had spoken to me was rude and careless, telling me I called the wrong number and that "I shouldn't be calling here" acting as if I was stupid calling the hospital. I made up my mind and decided not to volunteer at this hospital because of the extremely poor service I received. with that being said. I'm going to Sherman.
p/s the volunteer services were very helpful and caring, unlike everyone else I spoke too
