Been to Johns Hopkins, Vanderbilt, NY Presbyterian and Hackensack University Medical Center. The Staff at Princeton Community Hospital could teach those big hospitals a thing or two about kindness, compassion, respect, and how to keep your ego out of the emergency room. They were awesome. They deserve the facilities and equipment those “Fancy” hospitals have!

I have been a patient there and visited friends while they were in the hospital. The food they serve the patients is decent and I have a meeting in the cafeteria and found the food good. They seem to run like clockwork and the staff seem very happy to work there and they are very helpful, uncommonly nice and extremely polite and accommodating. Everything is spic-and-span, as it should be in a hospital. I was very pleased with my time in the hospital every time I have been an inpatient and also for outpatient surgery. They also offer patient financial assistance for qualifying people, which Bluefield Regional Medical Center stopped providing.

Physician and OR nursing very competent and courteous. First sixteen hours in the room on the 3rd floor Orthapedic was great. After that no response. Called paged nurse station for assistance to use potty chair (as required) and no response. Fifteen minutes later paged again, no response. Asked visitor in room to go to nurse's station and request assistance an 10 minutes later no response. Over an hour too miserable to wait longer. I acknowledge there are good nurses and staffs. This one is incompetent.

They do not address you when you go in to the desks they look at you and keep on going make you stay there and wait about 3 to 5 min before asking if you need something They do not care how long you wait cause they have to be there any way. One person said I'm not in a hurry because no one is dieing haha . Very sad that they don't care.

Brother in this hospital now with cancer and room is 84 degrees with no water all night or a fan. 2 bed sores, not cleaned the catheter for 13 days. Stopped pain medication for NO REASON. Treat him with no respect. On his last days on earth. I hope they go out in a worse way for treating people like that. 1 star is too much
