I am on a 22 year payment plan for a five day stay. The next time I go there will be to the morgue.
Sat in the waiting room for hour and watched doctors come in and out the whole time. Very unprofessional and are much more happy having a full waiting room then a empty one.
My son was there due to having pneumonia before he was one and the staff where amazing. Some not so friendly but most of them was. They had a selection of movies we could choose from or just watch tv. I am getting nervous where I near my end of my third pregnancy. Haven't had any kids at PCH this will be my first time but I do highly recommend them. You won't always find bad employees. I just chalk it all up because the ones who really care answer any and all questions you have. I really enjoyed the stay. Me and my hisbahu both did. They fed us both through our insurance and always made sure we was ok and always checked on my baby. He was truely in good hands.
For years I have gone to this hospital for migraines for years around two times a week never a problem getting the meds that helped ,a couple years ago I got the pressure point in my ear pierced and went from two a week to maybe two a year , yet when the Dr came in my room he treated me like a drug addict seeking drugs and I had not needed meds ffor migraines in well over a year ,he came in my room no exam or anything and said I'll give u tylonal and that's all I will give u , this after 30 years of giving me Demerol twice a week , I am 60 years old and could of very easily been having a brain bleed or even a stroke but he didn't even examine me , if he thought I was a addict he should have done a drug test and still examine me ,I don't do drugs I don't drink yet I was treated with less care than a animal because of his own beliefs , and if I was a addict it would be because pch gave me 100 miligrames Demerol and ,50 MIL of phenergran two to three times a week for 30 years but by the grace of god I'm not a addict even though that's how I was treated , but anyone who is in pain should be treated regardless , it's in the pts bill of rights
I was recently in an utv accident and was taken to this hospital. I was extremely impressed and received excellent care. All of the staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and actually concerned. The emergency room doctor addressed all of my questions and explained everything in detail. I did have to have surgery and the whole surgical staff and doctor were also fantastic, as well as the nurses on the orthopedic floor. Thanks to all that assisted in my care.
