feedback about Progress West Hospital
I can't say enough good things about this hospital. Went into ER with respiratory illness and was admitted with flu and pneumonia. The ER was a little slow because we didn't see anyone for about 2 hours. The ER doesn't seem to match the hospital level of care because it is small and rooms are cramped. There was some raucous laughter coming from a few of the guys working in the ER that seemed inappropriate, but that cannot even take away from my 5 star review because of the wonderful treatment I received in the hospital.
However, once we saw a nurse, she got the ball rolling and did a great job. There was another male nurse who was fantastic, as well. Both very kind and caring people. Once admitted, I was treated very well. Every person that came into the room asked me if they could get me anything when they were leaving. The customer service there is amazing.
The room was very spacious and had a pull out couch that my husband was able to sleep on. I got great care for my illness and can remember nurses and techs, Christia, Kristin, Bailey, and Kelsey who were so kind and friendly. They made me feel better just by talking to me for a few extra minutes. I have never had such a great experience in a hospital previously! Highly recommended.
Had knee replacement surgery and all doctors and nurses were great. I had same tech 2 nights in row and her name was Abbey. She was really good and always there to help with anything I needed. I would definitely recommend Progress West.
Attentive staff, GREAT FOOD. Overall a wonderful experience for an unexpected hospital stay. I definitely recommend. I would like to point put that the rooms are very large, private have a huge couch for visitors to sleep if they like and bathroom with shower. They provide one free meal from a family member per day. Anything beyond that is onl $5! My family appreciates this and were also very impressed with the food. I was very, very impressed with the facility. I went in with what I thought were complications from a broken ankle and wound up staying a couple of days. If I were to need a hospital near my work again, I would absolutely go there.
Absolutely amazing every single time. I've had two babies there, used the ER, and rely on the physicians in their medical office for routine care. I would definitely recommend Progress West to anyone for any medical need.
My husband has been a patient in all the area hospitals. This one is the best to be an inpatient. The staff is great. The food is amazing! I just took off one star for the ER. The last couple times we had to wait a long time to get a room, then a long time to see a doctor. And the room we have been given on those visits has no TV so the wait seems twice as long. It would be nice to have a distraction while waiting.
