Went into the ER early morning, waiting room empty. Seen immediately, evaluated and put into a bed right of way. Seen by 3 doctors within the first 30 minutes. Nurse was efficient and polite. Orderly who took me for MRI was nice and friendly. MRI unit is all the way across the hospital and outside in a separate unit. Total time there 5 hrs. A lot of renovation has been done and is a lot better than before.

I accidentally slid down a cliff over at sunken city about 100 ft and landed on a big Boulder Rock the ocean shore. I went into the emergency room here on Friday8-9-19, at 7 pm-and waited six and a half hours and not even triaged and never got any X-rays. I went into insulin shock because I'm a type 1 diabetic and did not expect to wait so long I was not prepared. Also I was in shock! A friend drove me home and I left messages for my general practitioner and an orthopedic doctor. The orthopedic doctor ordered x-rays that I had to go to Providence LCM. Lewis, in admitting on the first floor had the X-ray order at 8:30 a m. I arrived at 9:15 a.m. and I was the only one there in the waiting area! I kept getting scolded by staff because I needed to lie sideways on the floor( because now I found out a second lumbar disc had broken!) So I could not sit because it was very uncomfortable. But Louis kept insisting I sit! Thank God I brought an advocate with me to witness this horrible Lewis. Not sure how to spell his name cuz he would not let us look at his badge! He treated me with such discrimination! Ask me personal questions that had no relevancy to my insurance. When my friend and I were saying a rosary out loud he told me to be quiet! He took an hour and a half just to admit me for x-rays. Then sent me to radiology and said I don't need any papers. When we arrive to Radiology they asked where are your papers?! He hates humans, he hates women, he hates Roman Catholics! Or he just hates me?! And I believe Louis is a supervisor! I gave two stars because the people in Radiology were wonderful and very caring. Clarence, and Rosella, spelling? Call 1-800-MED-icare to report Q.I.A- upcoding and neglect of priorities of patient care.

Really impressed with the nurses and doctors and all the staff here. I took my 2 year old in with a very high fever and they put my mind at ease, were very gentle and caring with her and thorough! I hate when a Dr. rushes you through, the wait was a little longer but I was satisfied with the time they took with my daughter.

We were considered a "two-fer" my son was injured and so, was I. From the moment we walked in all the way to discharge it was a wonderful experience. The wait was not long in ER. I can't recall a time when my wait at this ER was long which is why I make the drive to Providence of San Pedro. It's like a well oiled machine the operations of it all runs smoothly. We were seen by the nurse practitioner, then the ER doctor ( but I had no idea he was the doctor because he was so casual and humble) then Matthew. I remember Matthew. We had a fun time like we were chatting it up with buddies at home. Everyone was so sweet, and rapid in their efforts to let us move forward in life.

Because it is a place that is based in faith. And the hospital prays almost every day. And they have the most experienced doctors.
