Maternity staff was awesome when I had my daughter almost a year ago. Had to take her to the ER today. Dr Shah was amazing. Very patient and caring young dr who truly cared about the situation.

I had a great experience delivering my baby here. All the nurses are very attentive and caring. I would definitely recommend this hospital to any expecting moms.

Little Company of Mary Hosp. San Pedro is ill equipped to handle the emergent care of aging patients, and receives failing marks. Their approach to medical care is very passive. If you require faster, aggressive treatment, it will not happen here. You must go to another facility that is not affiliated with them.

Little Company of Mary should think about changing their name. You would think they'd be very comforting and warm, but instead they do not reflect their Catholic beliefs. My family and I entered the hospital and almost immediately we were confrotned with stares. Yes, we were a big group but that does not concern them. When it's your family and they are undergoing surgery, everyone wants to be there to support them. I did not get the name of the volunteer in the front, but she was a short older lady with white hair and glasses. She took one look and muttered "That's alot!" Then she made a big hand gesture to her fellow volunteer thinking we could not see. She immediately stopped when she saw we were looking. I feel as if that is very unprofessional and rude. Not so Catholic in my eyes. She was obviously judging us. No sincerity whatsoever. When we were on the way to the waiting room, again we were greeted by stares perhaps even glares. Going into their waiting room there was also a big family there. Were they greeted with stares entering? I think not. My family and I are very disappointed with the staff here and do not appreciate their treatment. Little Company of Mary should maybe backtrack a bit and reevaluate themselves and their values. I see no Christian charity here. All I see is judgement and perhaps something more hostile.
