Absolutely the worst "care" possible. My nurses were good but the doctors are a joke. If you want to be treated, don't go here.

(Aides, Respiratory), Awesome!!! Night nurse, care was excellent. The attending physician, he was arrogant and in my opinion, not very intelligent . Didn't talk with us in the right way and when I tried to speak with him privately, he refused. I had to talk in front of the nurses and ward clerk. So much for Hippa. Tried to get him to transfer my patient, told me he couldnt . Misdiagnosed my family member. We had been there since Friday, but the problem was still there. I signed the paper for release. They didn't offer any assistance, wheelchair or anything. That fell on the nurses bc they saw us leaving. What happen to the care? Went to another hospital and was diagnosed within 30 mins. Richardson was treating us for something totally different. Also got a third opinion. Diagnosis was so simple. This hospital is nothing like it was in the eighties when I worked there. The doctors I was privileged to work with were excellent doctirs/surgeons. Our ER was efficient. Staffed with good doctors at that time. We had a really awesome facility. Never again!!!!

The service is soso but the billing is horrible especially if you go to thier ER. We've been having issues with their billing 2 times already, saying we didn't pay the Bill but actually the doc didn't submit the claim to the insurance company and sent the bill to a wrong address and then turn it to the debt collecting company. I'm not going to this hospital unless I really have to.

My experience was awful...I went in on a Saturday just to get enough pain meds to last till I could see my orthopedic doctor on Tuesday. I was treated like some street addict crack head. My medical issue is a broken neck. I went in with a upper body halo cast and all paperwork documenting the meds I was taking and the numbers for the trauma center that treated me in Tennessee... they wouldn't listen to me or look at my documentation... are they saving the medicine for themselves or do they really not care when a person with a broken neck is in extreme pain. The entire staff should be re evaluated. This happened march first around ten am.I was told to drive to Shreveport if I didn't like their attitude. It is a shame that doctors and other medical professionals get away with such blatant disregard for the oath they took claiming to serve the medical fields to the best of their ability.
