There is no signage to indicate where health center 3 is located. Once in the comprehensive breast center, there is no signage to indicate a need to sign in. The receptionist saw me walk in while working with a client. I didn’t want to disturb her. Another client came in, A invited her to sign in and took her and another visitor before me. Not a welcoming first visit to this part of Main Line Health Care. Nonetheless, the technician was professional and kind and the valets were wonderful.

Incorrect diagnosed!!!! I took my dad to Riddle hospital emergency room on Thursday morning. I told them that my dad has not been able to sleep for 3 nights due to shortness of breath. He would wake up coughing and tried to catch his breath. They did blood works and chest xray on my dad. The ER doctor sent my dad home in that same night saying my dad has a nasty cold. The next night my dad's breathing problem got worst. I decided to take my dad to Taylor hospital ER instead. The ER doctor did a CT scan on my dad and find out my dad has blood clot in his lung. He was diagnosed with Pulmonary embolism. Please make sure you exam everything before send the patient home. Your incorrect diagnosed can caused a person's life.

Comments related to Parking Garage issues: I had an appointment at Riddle Hospital with a physician in Health Center 2 building. I drove into the entrance looking for the building and followed the signs that said Health Center 2, 3, 4. The first thing I saw as I rounded the curve following their signs was a garage opposite the Out Patient Pavilion. I then followed the road all away and wound up back the front door still looking for Health Center 2, 3, 4. Out of desperation, I parked at the garage across from Health Center 1 and entered the building hoping Centers 2, 3, and 4 would be there also…. No luck! I am a senior who has great difficulty walking at the time and now I have walked from the parking lot into the building and back and still could not find the correct Center. I then drove back again to the next garage that was opposite the Out-Patient Pavilion. Out of desperation, I entered the Out-Patient building and I asked where Health Centers 2, 3, and 4 were. An employee said, “sorry… it’s here but there are no signs”. I am shocked that a hospital as old as Riddle does not have the proper signs out. All your garages should say, “Visitors Parking for Health Care 1, 2, 3, or 4….etc. Your Out-Patient building should also display “Out Patient Pavilion/Health Centers 2, 3, 4. I wasted 20 minutes looking for the correct garage.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My aunt received horrible treatment from the Palliative Care Unit The doctor, if I can call her that, was brusque, uncaring , unempathic, spent no time with the patient, not even bothering to gown when she stepped into the room for all of four minutes. She was not overworked, either , because she spent the next 20 minutes loudly socializing about personal business at the nursing station . Overall, the Palliative Care Unit was negative, dismissive, and insensitive. I should note that, against their expectations, my aunt recovered. I am amending my living will. Should I find myself at Riddle, I wish no involvement from that unit. They are not healers. I would welcome an opportunity to further discuss.

Must read .. Hospital and Staff are 5 Stars! Spinal surgery in June of 2019. With a one day notice I needed a revision to my spinal surgery to repair significant issues in my back. The prior doctor made mistakes and the new surgeon was taking immediate action to make things better for me. I was not familiar with the area nor the hospital that the surgery was being performed but I trusted my surgeon. Initially I was concerned because of the reviews posted on Google. However, I felt that reputation of my surgeon he would not operate at a facility that would jeopardize his patients health. I trusted him. I’ve had 4 prior back surgeries and the last one was made even worse because it got infected and required another surgery to cleanse the hardware etc. This would be surgery number 5 for me and I wanted it to be the last one to correct what the other surgeons could not. The surgery was a complete success (fusion) and what’s even better is the staff, nurses, physicians were excellent!! From the moment I checked in (again this was done with one days advance notice) I knew those bad reviews were just the usual complainers that have ridiculous demands of everyone else but themselves. Everyone was extremely nice, patient, courteous, wanting willing and able to assist me with anything that I needed. I could not believe that after reading some very concerning can negative and critical reviews that what I experienced was nothing short of 5 stars from everyone there. I have never taken the time to write a review or a thank you letter previously. However, as someone who’s had several surgeries and many hospital stays I am compelled to offer my own opinion and experience of this very fine facility. The hospital management has to know that the staff is doing a fantastic job there. I mean everyone including the food service team. Example: I forgot to complete the menu for meals because of being so exhausted from surgery. The team were very accommodating in getting me a meal all with a smile and pleasantries knowing how much a good meal means to a person recovering from major surgery. The surgical prep team was outstanding in keeping me informed while also calm. The post surgery team was great as well monitoring my vitals and acknowledging my pain. The care team who continuously monitored and cared for me during my 5 day stay were nothing short of AWESOME!! Riddle Hospital, you have a wonderful team of professionals who truly care about the patients and the work, service they each provide! Thank you very much for taking very good care of me and nursing me back to health.
