Take forever. Didn't put me in a bed and I felt faint. Didn't help me very well.

I went to the emergency Rio Grande hospital in Mission first. After a number of test, I was sent to the Rio Grande hospital in McAllen by ambulance. Because it was a weekend, I was told that certain tests could not be done. (In a hospital????) They were able to do two tests but no one was available again to READ the results. I was then sent home. Now, over a month later, I am back in Wisconsin and STILL don't have the results of the tests done in McAllen. My doctors here have sent multiple requests for them and still no answers. The staff was friendly and did what they could, but not having a doctor in that big hospital that couldn't read the results of my tests for two days was insane. I am still working to find the results.

I delivered my son in 2007, he had surgery in 2015, and my mom came in for gallbladder stones in 2017. All these times we have been treated with patience. The staff and nurses are friendly and understand that when you are in a situation like having your loved one in the hospital, you go into la la land. Any hospital will charge you an arm and a leg but as long as we are treated right I really don't mind, or driving across town to get taken care of. This is the hospital I prefer. Thanks to everyone for being so kind!
