WAYYYYYY BETTER hospital than Charlton Memorial (the other hospital in Fall River). St. Anne's is so much cleaner, the staff is super-friendly and the ER is such a quick wait. For example, I had to go there recently because I stepped on a nail and I went to Charlton first because I live one min. away but it was a THREE HOUR WAIT. St. Anne's, I waited 40 mins. I'm ALWAYS going to St. Anne's from now on. The staff there makes you feel so comfortable, especially if you're going in for something embarrassing. I really do suggest this hospital over Charlton any day!

I had complications from an abscess drainage done at my doctor’s office a day later. There was a Knick in a superficial vein so there was a lot of bleeding and a lot of pain. I can’t describe the pain it was unlike anything I’ve ever felt.

I had never been to St. Anne’s and from the minute I walked in it was incredible. The registration was fast, I was seen very quickly, and the NP who treated me explained everything and made me feel so much better. The nurses were outstanding. The abscess was on my thigh and I’d bled through my pants and it was messy and so painful. The nurses dressed and cleaned the wound twice in a short time and even cleaned my leg where I had bled. They got me a pair of hospital pants to wear home.

I’ve never been to the ER for anything like this. I never go to the hospital. Maybe three times in my whole life?? The compassion and kindness showed by everyone there was incredible. Thank you St. Anne’s.

The emergency room wait time is absolutely appalling , I was there for nearly 5 hours waiting to be treated for an injury that I had attained while skateboarding. The nurses hardly ever showed attention and care to me and I wasn't even given a room, but left out in the hallway with people constantly passing back and forth. This Hospital is an utter shame and disgrace . The stories told from people that have had the unfortunate luck of visiting this place seem to line up with my experience for the most part. Please do not come here! you will be poorly attended , quickly "Treated" after hours of waiting , and then discarded sometimes worse off than when you came in. DO NOT COME HERE! EVER!

The wait time for the "EMERGENCY" room is absolutely ridiculous! I'm absolutely appalled at how long I've been waiting smh

Update: I walked out, I couldn't take it anymore. The fact that I was in pain, and expressed that to the woman at the front desk, and still waited hours to be seen most likely will not be coming back here. Respond to your patients quicker, and treat them like they're worth it.

Let me make it clear that 1 star is way too generous, the fact is that the nightshift MD that did nothing for me to help in any way should be FIRED, the hospital itself investigated for ridiculous wait times and complete lack of patient respect and care. My primary office referred me there, but unfortunately based on my own personal experience, the average unlucky citizen who walks in hoping for acceptable or ANY medical help or answers is better off consulting with a magic 8 ball. I contracted some kind of severe infection the day of my annual exam and biopsy at gyn office, three months ago!! I have been suffering terribly every day with burning so bad that it looks and feels like acid has been poured on the affected area, as well as other abnormal symptoms. Gyn and Charleton Memorial cannot diagnose or figure out what I am suffering with, I've been to gyn four times with each visit resulting in different diagnoses ,being put on medications just to be told each one was incorrect and wouldn't have helped. Hoping for different insight and help for the severe burning, inflammation, etc. I sought necessary help at St. Anne's. I will say that the male nurse who I first was encountered by was great and unfortunatelly it went only downhill after an already long period of just waiting to be seen, then placed on a cott in an open area. I was brought into room, no privacy at all, then MD walked in, he was abrupt, rude, uncaring, and even after being made aware of what I've been going through, not knowing anything about other medical issues I suffer with, he said "your primary had no business sending you here, this ER is for sick and emergency patients, you are neither, this is why we're always so backed up, because these offices don't do what they should then everyone shows up here". Actually it had been explained that this infection has been ongoing daily for 3 months and I'd been feeling very poorly more and more, but all outward physical symptoms he could have clearly seen, had he taken the time to notice. He REFUSED to order ANY blood work to see if I had any type of infection in my system that may require treatment, he stated if he did a culture test and it came back positive that he wouldn't do anything anyway because that's up to a gyn to help with, he did no exam, did not offer any type of topical pain relief for the open cuts and red, raw inflammation and did not have any concern that this could potentially be spread to others, absolutely REPREHENSIBLE. His suggestion was to find a way to get to Boston because he stated he was not going to try and diagnose a medical issue that in 3 months no one else has been able to figure out! To this "doctor" and this hospital I say you should be brought up on charges for fraud by taking payments but providing NO care, and for patient neglect. You and any practitioner or hospital that conducts themselves the same are nothing but opportunistic, vial, dangerous parasites with a medical degree not even worth the frame you put it in, stealing a person's time , hope and well being while you expect the population at large to perceive and treat you like a god, while sick, trusting, and hurting people die and or suffer due to your lack of compassion and help, because you knew you only ever cared about your status, image and wealth, don't worry about that though because yes, yes, you will always be above others because those of us who depended on you or those we care for, will be six feet under. I hope you are haunted for eternity.
