Outstanding local care! The doctors are very personable & do their absolute best to make sure you are taken care of. I recommend SJ to all my friends& family!
My husband was transferred from the St. Joe's Brighton ER to the St. Joe's Livingston ER in Howell due to blood clots in his leg and lungs. He was being admitted and was kept in ER for one night due to no beds in this hospital or in Ann Arbor. They treated his condition, made him comfortable and he was transferred to a room the next day. ER nurses and doctors were awesome and even though they were VERY busy they provided excellent care, and we can't say enough positive things about his experience as a patient on 2 East. His hospital doc definitely selected the right profession with her expertise and amazing bedside manner and personality. The nurses and techs were so efficient and provided excellent care...not to mention how friendly there were. The hospital itself has been renovated and is very nice, clean, and modern. Specialists within the St. Joe's system were consulted and a plan was quickly developed for ongoing treatment and follow-up care. We didn't have much knowledge about the St. Joe's Livingston hospital since we mostly went to the Ann Arbor facilities -- but we will definitely make them our choice if a hospital visit is ever required in the future.
Entered emergency with a Kidney Stone. Promptly drugged to relieve pain. A CAT scan showed no stone so I was sent home. Two weeks later again entered Emergency this time a CAT scan revealed I had a 5mm Kidney Stone that I was told I would need a stint to pass. Again sent home. But without a stint. I never saw a Eurologist either time though I was repeatedly told I would. Three days later I drove to U of M emergency where my stint was placed and an appointment was made to remove the stone. I gave two stars only because the nursing staff was very good. Billing shows two CAT scans at almost $4000 Dallas. Along with being much more competent U of M is cheaper
I had a tonsillectomy done here and everything went great. The nurses, staff, doctor and anesthesiologist were amazing and so kind. I had a great experience at this hospital and would definitely recommend!!
Excellent, professional, caring staff at every level. Doctors, nurses, techs and administration all respectful, experienced and compassionate. Highly recommend St. Joe's.
