I feel as of people think the hospital is a restaurant. I read complaints about curtains and stains on the ceiling? OK!? If you have that much energy to complain about curtains then you can get up and walk out. You should be more concerned about the expertise of your physician and compassion of your nurses. This is an old hospital but with it comes decades of wisdom. There is definitely disorganization but from what I understand the hospital is going through a lot of change. I for once have experienced hard work and a helping hand while there. Staff is always assuring proper care and attending to my needs. And finally getting better and leaving. If I want kaiser curtains and cedar ceilings then I'll head there next time.

One night I had a severe fever and shake, friend took to this hospital. They were shocked by 106 fever but since due to high fever I couldn't find my insurance card they didn't let me in. Finally after my friend help we gave them my insurance info along with my SSN.

They run some tests after two hours they were clue less about the cause of fever. So they ran all tests again and nothing. So they let me go home and told me they don't know what happened.

The fun just started, they changed my insurance $3500 dollars and charged me $1600 out of pocket for putting ice on my head and blood test. (I have full PPo Gold)

After a year I get a call from collection agency that I owe an other $110 that I have not paid them. I'm searching all my bills and don't see a $110 bill. The collection tells me that it's not their business and either I pay or they force me to pay

This place is an extortion scam. They dont know what they are doing and get 5k to reduce your fever.

One of the worst hospitals I’ve ever been to! The ambulance took my mom there because it was the closest to her home . They took ekg and echo test on her early in the morning 6 am they said she needs a stress test and can’t eat all day 7 am new nurse came “ Lorna” she was on the 5th floor one of the most nurses I ever met in my life ! Until 4 pm she kept telling us there Coming to pick her up and finally at 6 they came mind you al day we kept asking her where the dr was to tell us the results of the echo and ekg that was done early in the morning her response I dunno were waiting I dunno were waiting she didn’t even walk in her room to give my mom water ! After another hour she left because her shift was over without even saying a word ! After another hour they said oh we can’t do anything today we have to wait for tomorrow I finally got a charge nurse to tell me her ekg is good that was all ! Lorna I hope you get your license revoked because your nothing but trash for treating my mom that way I will never ever ever go to that hospital again or let anyone I know go there !

It started with Dr Yokoyama expertisely removing the upper lobe of my husband’s lung... the ICU team and the 5th floor nursing staff, assistants, took care of him. The ICU unit has a team of professionals who review the patient daily, then makes recommendations to the provider in charge for the patient care.
My husband required one-on-one care when they moved him a step-down. The excellent care continued. You can tell these people love their jobs!
