Was told I have an upper respiratory infection and to “wait it out”. Was given no antibiotics and the doctor said to me “why did you even come in you’re basically fine”..... but was literally just told I have an upper respiratory infection. Also sat there for 2 hours listening to the nurses and doctor gossip and eat candy.

Salem is nothing but a Band-Aid station. I would never have an important surgery there

This hospital is a complete joke. In March my brother was in the ICU. He has seizures quite often and as he was having a seizure the nurses proceeded to watch as my mother was the one who sprung into action to turn my brother on his side and comfort him. At no point should a parent not be able to trust a hospital with the wellbeing of their child. I do not know who watched this but if you read this your should be downright ashamed with your poor performance and I sincerely hope their are some legislative changes because this is downright disgusting. I only put one star because I can’t put anything lower than that. If I could put 0 I most certainly would. Don’t try to talk to their management either as they will just proceed to feed you lines and tell you that you are wrong and they will rudely hang up on you. This hospital lacks any sort of compassion for family and needs some serious changes because it is hands down the worst hospital in the tri-county area. Better yet they may even be one the worst hospitals in the state of Ohio. You are better off walking to a veterinarian to take care of you than this place. I am appalled and frustrated with the performance of this hospital. I sincerely hope their are some changes coming in the near future.

The nurses are outstanding! They make you feel like you are family! I would highly recommend this hospital to all of my friends and family! Special thanks to Jamie, Natalie, Janet, Emily, and Dr. McNally! So blessed and thankful for all of you! Travis Mong
