Samaritan Albany General Hospital

If a place deserve a 5 star and above is this hospital. I'm from California, where to see a doctor in the ER takes more than 8 hours and at the end a nurse give you a pack with Tylenol and charge you $2,000. I have 4 days due cardiac issues and all nurses and people are so awesome. Thanks to all my nurses, Dr Wang, CNAs, room cleaning personnel, monitoring unit. All of them. God bless you all because you’re giving me another chance of life

They saw my mom right away and took great care of her. Gave me a bed to lay in next to her too.

I've always been given the best of care at this hospital, including the ER. It is a smaller hospital, but they do the best they can for their patients.

Completely unprofessional and honestly very scary care. My 4 year old came in needing stitches, and we had to wait for nearly 2 hours! Yes, a pediatric head wound trauma waited for two hours. No sense of urgency. When we did see Dr Huston, he did not do any sort of neurological assessment nor did he irrigate the wound. I absolutely won’t be going back to this ER with anyone I care about.

I would have left a zero if that was possible. DR Michael Maurer is exactly what is wrong with the American Medical System. Didn't even read my wife's charts threw pain pills at her and tried to have her discharged. When I confronted him about it he stormed out of the room like a little kid that didn't get his way saying "I am Done Here". Asked to speak to his supervisor and they kicked me out of the Room. What a Joke.
