The doctors and nurses were compassionate and we'll experienced with my medical condition.

I had a family member admitted into their facility and when I went to visit I had noticed several issues. They had a urinal on the tv tray, as they served him food. The bed linen was soiled with blood for seven hours before I asked that they changed it. The tech was making false statements. The day my family member was to be transferred from one unit to the other they ate breakfast but was told to wait till they were transferred and when they finally got to the next unit it was to late to eat. As a diabetic this is a very serious issue. The second shift staff was rude about all of the addressed issues and many of them would roll their eyes at me. When I addressed the tech she told me that she had 12 other patients to care for and that she was busy. When she made that statement it made me feel like my family member wasn't as important as other patients, but not only that from the time we arrived till I addressed these issues two techs were just sitting at the desk. How my family member was treated was absolutely unacceptable and disgusting!

Experience at Sanford was very unpleasant today. Rude receptionist and rushed doctor. Please work on getting better Sanford. Go back to Sioux Valley and care about your patients
