Saratoga Hospital

My mother has been in Saratoga Hospital for almost two weeks. The staff is excellent!! They have all been so kind to her.

Why have I contacted this hospital numerous times in the last 3 years for them to continuously NOT understand what they are doing? I came into the emergency room, got billed, paid the bill and then a whole year later I get a letter from a collections agency asking for $500. I call, it gets settled. Now I got another letter from a new agency offering a "deal of 300"??? Who is managing the billing department and why is it impossible to get a hold of someone? Horrible. I can't believe I have to deal with this even years after my visit.

I do believe that this hospital has saved many lives. In the case of my late mother-in-law, they failed on what should have been important precautions. She was diagnosed with two broken ribs and a lacerated spleen on a Saturday, and released the following Wednesday. Although she returned to an assisted living facility, at the age of 88 she was not ready for the discharge. We say this because she fell the very next day, and suffered a lethal internal hemorrhage from the damaged spleen. Saratoga Hospital, you do not always get it right.

Well organized and the cleanest hospital in the Capital Region. The staff is knowledgeable and extremely kind. I personally go out of my way to receive care from Saratoga Hospital.

My God, the automated answering system is broken and only loops. Push “1” to speak with someone regarding a patient in the hospital and the system kicks you back to the original menu. Push 0 and you’re own eternal hold and hold nobody ever picks up. Crazy this hospital is still in business. Embarrassingly incompetent.
