Selby General Hospital

Thank you for taking such great care of my mom while she stayed at your hospital. The facility is very nice and all of the staff are so kind.

I have chronic pain due to my back issues, because I've injured it, I had 5 epidauros, an injections in my back and I had an injection yesterday, which cause me to be in severe pain and vomiting due to the pain, I called my doctor told me to go to the ER . So I did, I felt like the doctor could careless,except one nurse she cared. The doctor just plain said we can't help you, because this is chronic and their laws!! Screw there laws! How about treat the patient, that you have in front of you and care, that I'm in so much pain and help me!! I'm not here at the ER for the fun of it!! I understand that people have abused medication, BUT NOT ME!! and there are others that suffer, like me!! Screw the people who has abused medication!! Now the people who need help cant get help!! Something needs to change!!!

So why does this place have an ER? Took my wife there for severe back pain and the doctor says we cant give pain medication do to the laws! You can shove your laws where the sun dont shine! So people dont go here if your in pain! If I could rate it -5 I would. Selby is awful!

I had a full left knee replacement on September 20, 2018. All I can tell you is that after the surgery, nurses, hospital staff and everyone involved with my care went above and beyond. I have never been in a hospital and received, even close too, what I received in this hospital! From top to bottom, there is none better! Thanks and God Bless L. S. Matheny
