My 52-year-old father was a patient here and received awful care. He had surgery on his ankle and no one once made an effort to manage his diabetes. As a result, his blood sugar levels would shoot up to 300 - 500 and he was not fed appropriately. The nursing staff did not provide adequate care as he was bed ridden and would often have to lay in bed unbathed or in his own urine until I arrived to help him the next morning. The final straw was when his physician specifically gave orders for medication and the nurses did not follow this. As a result his diabetes crashed to emergency levels and no one made an effort to assist him for 45 minutes. He later passed away a few years later from a heart attack. The cardiologist attributed this to his care and battle with diabetes at Sharon Regional as he had never had issues until his stay. In addition, this hospital is a dump. It’s filthy dirty, rooms are very cold in some sections during the winter, and nursing staff shows lack of empathy towards patients.

Came for outpatient surgery, had my gallbladder removed my Dr Roth. He did an excellent job.
The entire hospital staff is super helpful & caring.
I have been to hospitals in several different states and these people were the most caring & attentive.

Experience in the ER. The security guards are very loud and obnoxious. They were pretty much yelling in the waiting room and ER hallways, joking around and talking loudly about TV shows. People come here because they don’t feel well, there’s no reason you can’t talk quietly. They just come off as poorly trained and unprofessional.

There are drops of dried blood on the floor and drawers in the room. Along with the other garbage... rubber bands, plastic caps, paper....

The nurse and doctor were great... but the idiot security team and lack of cleanliness make me want to avoid this place at all costs.

Was just in hospital for 3 days. Er staff was great! Spent rest of time on 6th floor. Nurses were all very nice and respectful. I have no family doctor so staff doctor Jennifer Beard was appointed to me. She was absolutely great!!!! She answered any question i had and was very caring and just so good at her job. Thank you to all there.
