Went to this Emergency department today because I woke up and my wrist was swollen and painful to move 7/10 pain, I cant even clasp my bra. It's a Sunday and tomorrow is a holiday so I decided to go to this ER and have it checked just to make sure it's not broken (I dont take supplements and not into milk). This female caucasian doctor with red hair in her 50s, sees me and tells me I should not have come to the ER for something like "this" (my painful wrist). She asked me why I didnt schedule an appointment with my primary care physician. I told her the pain started today when I woke up, it's a Sunday today and tomorrow is a holiday. If there was an urgent care open today I would have gone there.
As far as I know, being a health personnel, people in healthcare do not talk to their patients that way (and I deal with mental health patients and memory care patients yet we treat them with professionalism). And anyone can go to the ER if they are seeking for medical help and its off hours for walk in clinics. And, mind you, I was the ONLY PATIENT there, not like I'm crowding the ER. And I am a paying customer.
Never coming back to this ER again.
