Checked in on Thursday for knee replacement surgery with Dr. Patel. Great surgery team and GREAT STAFF ON THE 2ND FLOOR. Great food (who would have thought!?!). Great Physical Therapy staff. And special shout out to Nurse Samantha Dowd who took great care of me that first day and night. Thanks everyone. See you in 2-3 months for the other knee!!!

My name is Lisa. I had out patient surgery on wrist this morning. Everyone from admissions to pre-op, Jane the anesthesiologist and OR staff were AMAZING ! Friendly, caring and obviously very passionate about their jobs. A+ Team work !! Thank You All very much !!!

Been to this hospital several times. Doctors and staff very professional. I can only speak for myself but these bad ratings and mistreatment I have never experienced at Southampton Memorial hospital.

if I could leave a negative star I sure would. Checked in for detox ( please don't judge me ) The wing for that smelled of piss. There were dirty lunch trays left in the hallway ( it was 5pm ). the staff was VERY unprofessional as were the Doctors. I paid out of pocket. $3,500! I could have gone on a trip of Europe for less than that! They did refund the $3,500 but I just received a bill of $1,190.81! CRAZY! DO NOT go there unless you are half dead, and then you will probably leave in a body bag.

Unfortunately I have to leave at least one star to review. They're not worthy of the 1 star.! I can give numerous examples of bad practice. My son stepped on a nail...they did nothing. Day 2 his foot was swollen horribly so we return, .. I asked for antibiotics...nothing. Day 3 the swelling was so bad, his toes could barely be seen. Oh he needs antibiotics! Day 5 we see a different hospital. The infection was out of control and we spent the next 6 weeks in chkd with a threat of amputating from the knee down. If he had gotten an antibiotic on day 1 we most likely would NOT have ended up like that! Example 2: Grandmother was taken there for suspected stroke...4 hours in the waiting room! Example 3: Grandson was screaming with ear pain. Dr Harvey says "probably ear infection, follow up in the a.m. with pediatric Dr"...if she had just taken the time to LOOK, she would have known his ear drum was ruptured!!
