The hospital sucks the doctor forced me to push my daughter out after I said I wanted a c-section then told me both me and my child could have died because he forced me to push her out. After delivering my child I asked for something to eat they gave me a sandwich that had mold on it. They didn't get all the gunk off her after birth and didn't properly check her temperature correctly. All in all this hospital sucks they don't know how to do their job properly.... And deserved to be sued

On March 1st, my 13yo son went into anaphylactic shock just outside of Waverly, VA. He was transported to SRMC as his symptoms escalated quickly after ingesting 2 small cashews (which he has eaten all of his life). The staff handled each stage of his issues with the seriousness and professionalism they deserved. The SRMC team and paramedics saved my sons life that day, we are eternally grateful for them.

The worse hospital in the state of Virginia. Waited for 7 hours just to be seen. Didn’t wanna help me when I was seen just wanted to get me out. I will never go back!! Please don’t even waste your time. They will misdiagnose you and not care when you die

This is the worse hospital I have ever been. Went in around 6:20 pm, got called back to triage about 1 1/2 hours later, then took down for CT scan. Was sent back to waiting room. I kept asking how much longer because I was seeing people come in after me and got called back to a room. They claim they were waiting on beds. They finally called me back to a room around midnight. I will never go back to this hospital

I will NEVER go to SRMC again in my life.I was seen by a rude, incompetent and uncaring ER Doctor there,Not sure if I can mention his name here so I'll call him Dr.K .I had fallen out of bed while sleeping almost a week prior before having to be rushed to THIS Hospital ER in the middle of the night because I awoke in severe pain with trouble breathing.I had already gotten medical care for this injury at other Medical Facilities at the time it actually happened and was told I had several broken ribs.I relayed all the information and medical history to ER Dr.K at SRMC when I finally saw him which was about 4 hours after I arrived there.Dr K spent very little time with me and NEVER examined me nor asked to see my injured area,he ordered a CT scan and after that was finally done another 4 hours or so passed and he finally returned to my room and sarcastically informed me that I did not have several fractured ribs and that all he could see was 1 if even that!! Dr.K then told me I was discharged and to go home and take ibuprofen or Tylenol and he refused to give me any prescription pain meds. or anything else for that matter even though I insisted I was in SEVERE PAIN.I continued to get worse and decided to go to my PCP a few days later (When I could NO longer stand the pain and was gasping taking very painful breaths) and that is when I found out that the Official Radiologist Report from SRMC ER visit I had at SRMC was sent to my PCP and NO doctor at SRMC or nurse or ANY Staff there had called to tell me those results OR that I needed to see a specialist ASAP. I had 9 yes you read that right 9 Fractured ribs with 3 of those being displaced.I could have died and should have been Hospitalized immediately...It's a miracle I could even breath at all and believe me the PAIN was unbearable. Thanks for the wonderful concern and care you gave me Dr.K
