Spectrum Health Zeeland Community Hospital

I recently had to visit Zeeland Hospital for a minor procedure that put me under anesthesia. The entire experience was exceptional!! Every person we encountered from check in, the nurses, the anesthesiologist, to the doctor were very professional, caring, and knowledgeable. Their attention to the patient exceeded my expectations.

Spectrum Health & Zeeland Hospital is a great place for any services in a time of real need. We have used Zeeland Hospital for my wife's kidney stones, my kid's overnight medical conditions whether fever, rashes and or allergic reactions. Sometimes Zeeland is the quick quality choice of an immediate need instead of going all the way into G.R. and waiting. Highly Recommended.

I got my car seats from there & the lovely ladies guided me through the guidelines on how to keep my children safe at all times while driving in case of a car crash. "God Forbid" right? They even explained every detail to me & informed me on laws i wasn't aware of. Thank you you two angelic ladies erin & kate❤

I recently visited this location and was pleased with the service. There were some issues with how my visit was coded which caused me to have to pay a lot more out of pocket however after a few discussions with Spectrum's billing department I was able to resolve that issue.

I was on vacation visiting Grand Haven (I'm from Charleston, SC) when I had to go to an emergency room. We knew not to go to North Ottawa Hospital in GH, and with God's help we discovered their was a small hospital in Zeeland, Mi. It's a tiny hospital in the middle of a cornfield....but it is great! The urgent care in GH called the Zeeland emergency room before we arrived. When we arrived they were ready for us and I didn't wait one minute. They were fast and efficient. Within an hour, sadly, I was being told that I had a mass in my colon. The surgeon on call was Dr. Thomas Vissar and he was amazing! The next day I had the surgery. Both the hospital, nurses and Dr. Vissar were excellent. The hospital was clean and everyone who walked in my room washed their hands. Very friendly. If anyone in my family ever has a problem and we are in the area, there is no doubt we will go to Zeeland Community Hospital.
