The nurses and administration staff were very friendly and helpful during our visit. The hospital was not the best I have been to, but in time of need they got the job done. We left in a timely manner and feeling 100% better than we we arrived. I can't speak about any part of the hospital except the ER. But the nurses we had were exceptional, very friendly, knowledgeable, and even had time to sit and talk about places to visit in town. I hope we don't have to go back (since it is an ER), but I would welcome the opportunity to have this staff help us again.

I want to say that this hospital is so caring fast and have super funny staff. My ER nurse James J made me feel very much cared for, comfortable talking with him. He generally cares about patients and the super Bonus he is so funny and even though I'm in the worst pain he joked with me and made me laugh. My Doctor Tatineny was very quick to getting in to see me and assess my symptoms. She made sure I was taking care of right away and got me comfortable.. I recommend this hospital 110%

Came to the ER on 6/20/19 with extreme pain. Dr. Hall came in and said a couple of thing. Did not one time examine me or even touch to find out where the pain was. He then said, without even observing me, that since I have a history of muscle spasms that there was no need to do any x-rays. Prescribed Tramadol (which I informed him didn't do anything to care of pain), a muscle relaxer, and a hot or cold compress, and said if pain persists to come back to ER. As Nurse Connie was giving me my discharge papers, I asked her do she think the problem could be an abscess or boil and she just said oh no that's not what it is. Ended up coming back to ER on 6/21/19 and was informed that I had an abscess and had to be prepped for IMMEDIATE SURGERY which turned out in me undergoing 2 surgeries. Dr. Hall was VERY UNETHICAL AND UNPROFESSIONAL with the way he disregarded me and my situation.

I'm not from St Louis. I went there for very bad anxiety attack at 7pm. There was one person in waiting room waiting on someone. I was put in room with no bed just an exam table. Dr kept bringing up xanax and how I want it, I said no I did not want it. Then she told me I had sinus infection.. told me I lied about hitting my head. While waiting for 6 hours I finally calmed down on my own and slept a little listen to nurses make fun of the other patients outside my room. Nurses would walk in my room with out knocking. At 1am they discharged me, I told them it was so late my ride could not come tell 8am. I was told to get out and walk home. I had no clue where I was... I asked how to get home they told me I asked if it was safe they laughed from across room and said they would see me back there in couple hours in body bag. I was then made fun of by a nurse. I finally got ahold of a sleeping friend who said she would come get me I asked to wait in entryway security guard finally said yes then I was approaching by several dr asking when I was leaving. I felt humiliated anxiety and depression they are the worse hospital i have ever seen. Lazy people who should not deal with sick. They did nothing for me but make me feel worse. STAY AWAY FROM ST ALEXIUS IF YOU ARE SICK. They dont care

This place was more of a security ward. I watched as in the open the nurse uncaringly told a man he had a std with no attempt at privacy and in the open(clearly breaks hippa, I was right in front of them. Was told that I had only been waiting for a dr for 2 hrs and I was low on the priority list. I never saw a dr and left even though I was just in a car wreck. They were only concerned with me signing a waiver. I had no phone, car Was toast, and no money on me. I tried to go back but they refused to let me in even though I was just in to try to ask for any sort of travel arrangement. I ended up WALKING home in pain..... I live in south county.
