feedback about St Alexius Hospital
The staff is very nice and understanding. They take care of patients in a reasonable time. I've been here for a broken wrist and a strain muscle on my side, they took care of me right away and didn't bother me about not having medical insurance. St. Alexius hosptial is my favorite in St. Louis, MUCH BETTER CARE THEN THE BIGGER HOSPITALS, THAT TAKE FOREVER.
I would give a 0 star. I died on the waiting room floor for 3 hours puking and pooping. Not one patient ahead of me. 3 more hours in a room with no supervision or meds. 1 hour on saline then released with a over $3,000 bill. I HATE this place. They should be shut down.
Staffs are very friendly and caring to patients. The hospital is well laid out and they provide a variety of services.
Recently had to take a trip to St. Alexius Emergency room and honestly can’t say enough good things about the staff. They took good care of me and my unborn baby. Highly recommend them
This place isn't a hospital at all. They don't even deserve 1 star just gave it 1 so i could write this review. My stepmom was released today from the mental ward and I'm not impressed at all. As a matter of fact this place is a freaking joke!!! They gave her her meds at the wrong times. And let me clarify her meds from her neurological Dr. When i went to visit her the nurse was giving them to her at the wrong time and when i asked why she said because that's how the pharmacy there does it. I told her she takes these meds at a certain time for a reason because of adverse effects. I was very nice about it but did so in a stern way she acted like i was getting irrate which i should've been but i wasn't. She did fix the the problem after i complained about the situation. Then the next day i call my stepmom and she told me how the nurse was concerned that leaving with me would be a bad idea insinuating that i abuse my stepmom. To say the least i wasnt happy to hear this by any means. I had given my stepmom her med list with all the information but the nurses acted like she never brought one in. Then to top it all off the dr wasnt even gonna do anything as far as treatment and med changes to help with her depression (she was suicidal) until she brought it up and he said well i guess I'll do something since you are here what the heck really?!? Then all he wanted to do was take her off her gerd medicine are you kidding!! Will not be back I'd really die then go there.
