Yesterday I took my son Kenneth Bradley in for should surgery and staff was incredible!! I was so worried about him having surgery because he has never been sick in his life. From the moment we entered hospital until I got him in the car to go home him and I were treated like royalty! They have a computerized display in waiting room that keep a you advised on each step of procedure great comfort! When surgery is done doctor himself calls you to advise you how surgery went very personal that's not something you experience everyday! I highly recommend if you ever need surgery pick this hospital! To everyone that me and my son encountered yesterday thank you and God bless you!

Very disappointed. My 1st and last time going to this ER. Went here thinking it was better than Mather but boy was I wrong. Came in via ambulance with severe dehydration vomiting shaking and diarrhea. Dr came in chocked it up to a stomach virus. Did no testing for food poisoning nothing. While we're waiting and I'm getting IV fluids all you hear is screwing around by the staff and even one conversation of how one of the nurses likes to pee in his shower (T.M.I). While we were getting discharged my fiance started violently vomiting. Instead of asking him if he was ok and needed help you heard the staff laughing saying "it's not her it's him". No further help or investigating as to what may be wrong. No one even offered him a bag or asked if he wanted to be seen. Got home and come to find out my entire family was violently ill and we narrowed it down to 1 common food we all ate on Saturday.

Everyone was very very nice. I came in for outpatient surgery. Before my appointment, I received several phone calls making sure I knew what I needed to be prepared and any dietary restrictions I would need to implement before surgery(such as certain vitamins or painkillers). From the woman at check in, to the nurses, especially the anasthesiologists. I had Michael and his "Dream Team" take care of the anesthesia. I have really bad anxiety with needles, but they were patient, calm, and swift in getting me all set up with the IV. I was definitely a big wuss with that. Everyone made sure I was comfortable and provided blankets and as soon as I woke up there was someone present to give me water and pain medication as needed, asking how I was feeling every few minutes. Dr. Jarit and his team did my procedure and I received a phone call the next day from him asking how I was feeling. Overall very pleased with my first surgery experience.

St Charles Hospital ....great staff......nasty accounting dept. Called them after surgery and asked for payment plan. They wanted more than I could afford monthly. They of course threatened with collections. I have made monthly payments as I had promised with the amount I could afford every month and after 8 months they sent my account for collections without even notifying me. They had no problem cashing my check every month. When I called to ask why they said that I did not set up a payment plane with them. Again I say they had no problem cashing my check. So much for being a part of the Catholic Services Network. I am a catholic and cannot believe the nasty treatment I was given on the phone by an Ieesha. Sorry do not know how to spell the name. So for anyone looking to get any kind of procedure done at St Charles, I hope you have cadillac insurance program or your on welfare, because if you are a middle class man trying to support a family on Long Island, you dont have a chance!!!

I brought in a family member who has a drug problem. Although it was nowhere near where I live, I wanted her to have the option of a detox. Staff was completely unhelpful and nurses made faces as if judging or annoyed even that they needed to deal with a druggie. Meanwhile me as the sober family member who has been through the ringer was shown absolutely no compassion. Horrible experience in every way. I wouldn’t bring my dog to get treated there. I would have given zero stars if it was an option.
