feedback about St John Sapulpa
My mother fell and hurt her head pretty bad. We got to the hospital and were immediately and professionally assisted. We had an excellent paramedic. A great nurse. Then we had Dr. Stanton. Talk about a excellant, professional, through, and well educated, Doctor! Dr. Stanton was all of that and much more. She checked mom out completely. We head for the holidays
confident she will be fine thanks to the Sapulpa hospitals wonderful care.
I have BCBS OF OKLAHOMA. I asked if St John was in network because I wanted to afford it and to be able to pay them. They couldn't answer me. It's against policy. Thank goodness I wasn't dying because we had to drive another 20 minutes to get to a hospital that we knew for sure was in network. So much for the Hippocratic oath.
The medical staff here is good. Signage for finding patient rooms from the main entrance could be much better. And to the little rent-a-cop who threatened to "throw us out of the hospital" last night for using the wrong entrance, you and your power trip can go sit on a stick.
I went to the ER because I was concern about my heart condition. I had palpitations, tingling in my left arm and shortness of breath. The nurses were nice at the beginning, until one of the nurses left the needle in my right arm after she had drawn blood. She left it there and I had to sign paperwork and do X-rays with it. No one neither the Dr. Said anything about it. Before I left another nurse took it out and it was bended. How scary is now days to visit an ER . I don't want to go back there. Period!! How concerning is that!!! I know my vain has been very sensitive... Should I report her to the Nurses Association so she remembers to do her job right???
There is a reason this particular location has such a low rating, take heed. The doctor we recently seen at this location was absolutely rude. We were sent there, to the ER, at the urging of a locally connected urgent care facility. She was quite annoyed, and felt our situation was not an emergency. She informed us of so, several times. Funny thing is, she couldn't even give a diagnoses in regard to the health issue. She didn't even know what it was but was hellbent it wasn't an emergency. So, make that rude and knowledgeably ill-equipped. St. John's used to be the premier healthcare provider in the Tulsa and surrounding areas, not anymore.
