St Joseph Mercy Oakland

Wow!!! This is far and away the best hospital experience I've ever, ever had!!!!Very nice staff at St Joseph's! Everyone is so helpful, sincere and knowledgeable!!!! My daughter had surgery and everyone there took such wonderful and professional care of her. The standouts were: Cara (RN), Kim (RN), Kit (RN), Kim (PT), Erica (PT), Latasha (PST), Sumaya (PT) and Dr Ward!!! Very kind, patient and professional ALL!!!! Even Miss Connie, a very nice Lady, who made me a delicious BLT in the cafeteria did a fabulous job! The chapel is extraordinary!!! A real church with candles (lights), a crucifix and Mass celebrated regularly. One can really feel His presence there!! And prayers are said by the Chaplain over the intercom regularly. A wonderful place!!!!! Kudos to all the staff at St Joseph's Mercy Oakland!!!! 86 Stars!!!!

I've seen & read some of the Reviews & after many, MANY ER Visits & In-Patient stays (and urgical procedures), for Myself & my Wife, I am seriously wondering if we're talking about the same place. Over just the last 10 years (last 5 years in particular), we have been shown, as In-Patient AND in the ER, an Excellent level of Professional Care & Courtesy & Concern. Now granted, sometimes things don't "move" as quite as fast as one might like, but THAT is "Routine" in ANY Hospital. I gave them 5 Stars, and fully Stand by it.

Been in there several times in the past couple years..... the Nurses are AWESOME!!!! I was born in that hospital and will probably will pass there.... I have had very caring Nurses all the time..... SUZANNE SUBLETT IS A FANTASTIC NURSE..... Thank you for all the great care all of you provide....

I love going to this hospital and so should everyone else because it's run by people who truly care about its staff. Hopefully, I get the opportunity to work here one day because the nurses as well as doctors, and staff care about its visitors and patients. Provided that one is worried about the negative reviews, please ignore them this hospital does a phenomenal job at finding all problems ahead of the curb. My dad came into emergency with atrial flutter. The staff was the most friendly & conscientious we’ve experienced in the area. Kudos to nurse Alex C and Dr. George Marinescu for taking such great care of my dad. Thank you!
