The staff here was amazing I'm really surprised at the ratings. Ended up here with a broken rib and punctured lung after a really bad accident. Spent about a week here and everyone from the emergency room up to the 3rd floor was incredibly kind and almost too helpful. The nurses charged my phone for me when I was unconscious so I could call my family, they were more worried about me being alone than I was. Food they give you is decent except for the meat courses, but you can ask for a menu and pick your meals ahead of time. I've been to a lot of hospitals and St Luke's is by far the best one I've stepped foot in - I won't go anywhere else

I am a military guy in town for a work trip. I looked up the reviews for this hospital due to a unforeseen emergency. I can not say enough good things about the care that I got here. The doctor and nurses that cared for me was better than any hospital i have ever been in in my 19 years in the military. From walking in the door to discharge it was awesome. They really took care of me. I can not thank them enough. Keep up the good work St Lukes!

Spent 4 days there after major surgery. Getting nurses to respond was a joke. I buzzed for a nurse, my wife was standing by the door & the flashing light outside the door which is supposed to let them know this, mysteriously went out. Had to have a foley bag reinserted. That was the last time anyone checked it, even when I told them I had pain there. Nurse just said it was spasms & left. The last day the nurse doing the discharge (which took over 3 hours to complete) changed the the bag to a leg bag since I had to go home with it, cleaned around the site & relief was immediate. I was supposed to be on gluten free diet, got diabetic. Never had a sheet changed or a sponge bath. I wouldn't take a dog there!

Brought me in, lied and denied my insurance. Left the hospital to be called back a few hours later to come back in since someone was giving me the wrong information.

Should have cost me my copay but you billed me for BOTH DAYS and as OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES. Now I have to fight and appeal with this hospital and my insurance for the next 4 months over this.

Beware, they will scare you out of the hospital, be rude and kick you out and bill you anyway even when you received no service!

I recommend not going here. Service is poor. Getting discharged takes hours. It’s absolutely ridiculous.
