feedback about St Luke's Hospital Bethlehem
The Bethlehem campus ER is the worst. Longest wait ever. Also had a horrible experience delivering my first child there. They rushed my delivery and I ended up with extra pain and injuries because they cared more about rushing through the labor and birth than doing it properly. Then had the nerve to confuse me with another patient. 8/10 of my nurses were rude and they deliberately went against my birth plan. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. Money hungry doctors and underpaid cranky staff. Avoid if at all possible. They made me feel scared to give birth in a hospital.
Terrible and no regards for patients' time. 3 back to back appointments for a family member and each was 40+ mins behind. Sprinted from the first appointment across the hospital to the next one only to sit there and wait another 40 minutes. Would not recommend. Best part is everything could have been done by phone.
This place is a real hospital..... trust me if you come here they will give some effort to help. Don’t try that at pocono medical they will kick u out an let you die on the street corner or in their rooms either way your dead
I came in as a trauma patient they released me from taman still not knowing who I was not able to walk being coherent but let me go and said nothing to my husband. Never again will I ever go to Bethlehem st Luke's they have no clue what they're doing and how to treat a true trauma patient. Let alone when you try to call the talk to somebody make a complaint they don't return your phone calls.
Deceptive billing practices. I went in for a preventive care procedure, which was supposed to be covered 100% by my insurance company. Instead, they coded it as something totally different and I got stuck with $2,000 worth of out-of-pocket bills. I'm sure someone will respond to this and tell me to call some customer service number. I've already done that. They're not helpful. They just tell me to have the insurance company fix it. Then I contact them and they tell me to have St. Luke's fix it. I'm tired of being passed back and forth with nobody wanting to help me. Apparently I'm just screwed.
