feedback about St Marks Hospital
A five star hospital, either to work here or be treated here. The environment and atmosphere that the staff create is beyond amazing, everyone is helpful, you will never feel lost the minute you walk into the hospital. Even when someone does not know the answer to your question, the staff never leave you hanging, they find someone who is able to give you an answer. I love working here, this is actually my first job ever where I do not feel like I am not a part of my team. I will continue to work here in years to come. Best hospital ever!
Dr. Moore's nurse Julie is one of the best. She's always responsive and calls back as promised. Very knowledgeable, but when she's not sure about something, she says so. I'm happy to have her to communicate with.
My very first pregnancy class was a win. I took the “Mother’s Milk” breastfeeding class, and the class was dense with information and well-paced. I felt like I got my full 2.5 hours worth and way more value than the money I paid for the class. I feel so much more confident about breastfeeding my baby and I picked up some other post-pardum nuggets of gold as well. Wendy did a great job. I highly recommend these classes.
I've worked at St. Marks for only a few months and I love it here! The atmosphere is upbeat and there is a vibrant culture within the staff/employees. After the first 60 days on the job the administration invited all new hires to a meeting to discuss how we felt our experience has been. We all had a chance to share what we felt was working and not working. They took notes on what we said and have tried to aid us in the areas where we might be struggling.
I now understand why employees have stayed with St. Marks for over 30 years.
I came in here to get 2 injections and was in a patient room for almost 3 hours. There was not a single person in the waiting room when I arrived. The nurse left after everything was done to get my paperwork, a 2 page print out, and didn't come back for an hour. On top of it after receiving a bill, I had to call in to get an itemized copy mailed to me since they don't include any details on the bill. After reviewing, they charged me for items that they did not even use. I'm glad the insurance company negotiated on my behalf to not pay for these items but the principal of it is that they still tried to charge me. Double check your bill and don't believe the good reviews, Based on my experience if employees are leaving positive reviews for their company, the company is asking them to do so and most likely asking other to leave false positive reviews as well.
