Sutter Amador Hospital

Love this hospital! And I hate hospitals! It's small enough not to cause anxiety and never crowded but it still has the most up to date equipment and knowledgeable staff. The staff is also super kind, always very helpful, try to cheer you up or make you laugh and make you feel comfortable. People think big hospitals must be better but when there is the exact same equipment, fewer patients,no long waits and individual attn .. you can obviously see the difference!

I love this place because the staff in every Dept, are respectful, conscientious and thurough. They handle every case with the proper amount of seriousness and throw in a little humor when appropriate. Very professional every time.

Key people such as ER & SurgeryPersonnel kept me comfortable & informed. Staff assigned my overbites were not attentive, failed to administer appropriate treatment. I was discharged during a bout of diarrhea brought on by incorrect medicine administration. I do believe the poor treatment coincided with the exit of federal health inspection team a few days earlier.

I was sent to ER at Amador Sutter Hospital from the WellSpace clinic for having high blood pressure; the nurses at ER were wonderful, very attentive to my health conditions and expressed concern. I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and placed into intensive care; where I received excellent medical treatment from the nurses and doctors and support staff. Everyone involved in taking care of me explain the procedure and what to expect. I can't thank them enough for the care they gave me. Except to say thank you once again.

I went in with a sliced foot and was in, stitched and out in barely over an hour. Awesome staff . Couldn't have have went better
