My 9 month old son’s eyelids and areas around the eye were extremely red and swollen. Probably an allergic reaction. We recently moved to the area and are in the process of finding a pediatrician, otherwise we would have saved time and called them.
We got to the urgent care at 11. Finally seen around 12:50 (three people had been called back). I don’t mind waiting if doctors are caring and listen. The nurse was extremely sweet and asked plenty of questions. I would give her 5 stars. The doc on the other hand seemed like he just wanted to go to the next person. He did not spend more than 5 minutes looking over my son and misdiagnosed him with double pink eye. Around his eyes thankfully cleared up within 24 hrs on their own, so I know it wasn’t pink eye. I didn’t feel like he was thorough and that’s what I expected after waiting almost 2 hours with only 3 people being called back.

I understand there’s little to do about an allergic reaction. But since we are new and don’t have an established ped yet, I wanted to go to the urgent care in case the reaction got worse. Instead it was called pink eye within 5 minutes and we were sent to the front with a bill. Waste of time and money for us. Very disappointed. Even more disappointed that this is the only urgent care that shows in network for my insurance.

One star cause we have to! I was double billed for services for months. Phone calls were aggravating and of no help. When my husband needed ankle surgery we went to Asheville NC. GREAT SERVICE WITH NO BILLING GLITCHES ! After months and months bills and about 30 pounds of paper from Ballads double billing system, mysteriously the bills stopped coming. We have even gone as far as talking about moving to get away from Ballad! SHAME ON YOU SCOTT NISWONGER!!! BALLAD HEALTH IS DEATH TO OUR REGION!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday we rushed my six year old to urgent care. Trying to make it there on time as we knew it closed at six. She had a fever and puking in a bag in the back seat. We get there at 5:30.. and the doors are already locked! On the same locked door it says open until 6pm on Sundays. I was livid. I don’t care if you want to get off early. If you don’t close until 6 you should see patients until 6!

They usually do a good job here and have good mannerisms about them. I wasn't extremely happy my last visit as I got there at 8 o'clock when they opened but the doctor wasn't there yet. I know that happens but kind ogmf irritating. When he did show up, they got me back quickly, saw me, and got me out quickly.

It didn't take as long as I thought it would to be seen. The girls at the front desk were very friendly and outgoing! The doctor and the nurses were equally nice.
