Everyone has there own views, bu! I am thankful that this hospital has a great staff of doctors and nurses. They just saved my sons life, and taking good care of him and went out of their way to reduce stress for the family. They are awesome?

How this place has the audacity to call itself ADA compliant is beyond me. Had to have lab work done. The handicapped ramp is not readily accessible from the handicapped parking spaces. There is a curb with a 4 to 6 inch step up in front of most of the spaces. The other spaces are across a busy driveway from the building. If you park at the curb, you have to walk in the driveway, past the security barrier to get to the ramp them back past the barrier in the other direction to get to the handrail. Doctors on the other hand park right beside the ramp. At the main entrance and out-patient entrances the parking is downhill from the entrance and you have to walk in the driveway around the outdoor smoking / seating area to get in. Parking at the ER is a joke! The closest handicapped spaces are down a little alley behind the old therapy building. If you have trouble walking your best bet is to hire someone to take you to the ER in another town! Also, after I finally get in the lab, they were understaffed as usual. There were six of us waiting when they told us we would have to wait even longer because they were taking a hospital employee before paying patients! Finally get in there and find out the lab tech doesn’t understand what kind of test has been ordered. Had to wait while she calls the doctor to find out what she’s supposed to do. THR is so money hunger they don’t care about anything else. If I ever need surgery I will crawl to Louisville before I’d let one the surgeons here touch me. Wish they had a way to rate them minus ten.

Inadequate care and 0 people skills from 90% of the staff. My grandmother was admitted for bowel blockage and ended up being overdosed on nerve medicine which caused her mental state to deteriorate. Happened to walk by the nurses station after she had an episode and overheard several nurses making fun and laughing at her. I went while pregnant to the ER because I hadn’t felt my baby move for almost 24 hours after having a fainting spell. The nurse assigned to me couldn’t find a heartbeat and giggled about it the whole time. Have taken people on several occasions for kidney stones, sprained ankles, anxiety attacks, etc... and are always treated as annoyances. I now drive 20-25 minutes to another county to a hospital that actually cares about making sure people are ok.

Had to rush to be by my boyfriend side after a horrible wreck! Every single person we encountered was so helpful and accommodating during our time there. The wonderful folks that work there truly enjoy their job!
