The hospital experience was great other than my bill that I received for my epidural. Everyone needs to be aware of the team that the hospital uses. US Anesthesia is the company that administered my epidural. I was billed for two people, one of which I never met. I was given a over $600 bill for a person I didn’t know existed. I should have only been billed for the person administering the medicine. Now I have an over $1200 bill because I paid for a supervisor that never came to meet me, check on me, or administer any medication. Just be aware of that provider the hospital uses and look out for it.
My daughter had surgery here and stayed the night. We received great care. Two days later we were back in the ER with complications from the surgery. We were taken right back and the doctor was promptly in our room. He ordered blood work and a CT scan. Everything was completed within 2 hours of us getting there. The longest wait was 2 hours to get the bag of IV antibiotics in. We again received great care.
What surprised me the most though, was the day after being in the ER, a nurse called to follow up with how my daughter was doing! I have never in my life had a hospital, much less the ER, call to check on us. I genuinely felt like they cared. This will be my preference of hospitals in the future. A+++++
The staff and facilities are top notch. I found the out-patient and in-patient care to be wonderful. Facilities are clean and the food is GREAT. (unusual for a hospital)
We delivered our baby last week at this hospital. The staff were courteous and had a great birth experience and postnatal care.
Kathy, Diane, Catherine, Amy, Lorraine, Holly and all other nurses and midwives who attended us and also the ones who took pregnancy classes were super wonderful. Security for the new born, Care round the clock and helpfulness of nurses make this place standout.
The food you get is very tasty and is second to none. The gourmet they gave during discharge was a nice idea.
0!!!! I had my baby there and it was the first experience ever. I was treated horribly. When I first wanted in, everything was ok. I was having terrible contractions, and they took me in pretty fast. Other than that check in doigo smoothly, everything else was downhill. I was denied water during labor, after asking a numerous amount of times. One of the labor nurses was talking down to me telling me that I wasn't pushing right or trying hard enough. I felt so discouraged. I eventually got a c section (go figure) and after the surgery was not handled with care. Almost carelessly moved around before getting on to the bed and wheeled into recovery. After having my baby the same rude nurse was telling me I'm not holding her right for nursing and giving me attitude, and getting frustrated when I said I just couldn't hold her properly because of how shaky and in pain I was. They also said I couldn't sleep with the baby on me, discouraging night time skin to skin. Overall, horrible staff, aside from a couple nurses, and worst experience ever. Those nurses words still haunt me. So upset at my first birthing experience. Overpriced too. Stay away.
