Great experience from start to finish! The staff is awesome and caring. It feels great to be here when I'm not feeling well. The staff worked great as a team and made sure I was feeling well and comfortable at all times. I normally try not to "waste" my time by going to the ER and try to avoid it as much as possible for many reasons, but it's nice to have to go and feel well taken care of from the moment you walk in until you walk out.
Everyone at this hospital is very profession, caring, kind and considerate. I've been admitted 3 times in the last few years and I had a colonoscopy done this AM and everyone involved deserves 5 stars.
I had the "opportunity" this past week to visit the ER at Texas Health after complications due to major illness. Despite being extremely busy, all staff were very friendly and were willing to take time to explain labs being drawn, medications administered, and prescriptions written. We were especially impressed with the doctor, triage nurse, and ER nurse.
In addition to the great staff, we were impressed with the triage process. My condition was one of true emergency and after stepping into the waiting room, I was concerned about how long I would be waiting due to how busy they were. However, they were able to get us in immediately.
All in all, it was a great experience (as great as going to the ER can be!), and we are grateful to have a hospital like Texas Health Presbyterian here in Rockwall.
Was very nervous before going into my ultrasound appointment but Scott and the other lady he had in the room made me feel very comfortable and made my overall experience very enjoyable, humorous (lol) and comforting. Great first experience both at this hospital and with the staff.
I showed up at 11 am and was seen by triage fairly quickly. I waited for over 3 hours with no one in the waiting area. 4 people showed up during the three hour period and I was told that I should go to another emergency room because my illness wasn’t severe enough to be seen before the others. I went to Baylor Scott and White in Rockwall where I was ambulanced to Baylor of Rowlett for emergency surgery. I would blame it on lack of staff, but they had plenty of staff standing around waiting!!
