Awesome awesome awesome. I can’t say enough good things about the every staff member from the front desk security guard to the nurses to the doctors. I feel like the best thing I could say to convince you that I had a stellar experience is that this is the Chick-fil-a of orthopedic medical facilities.
I was referred to this hospital by Grace ER and I am glad I gave them an opportunity. I had broken my wrist and had to have surgery as a result. Dr. Gharbaoui was very professional and patient through the entire process. I also would like to add that I was blown away at the efficiency in the process here. When I arrived initially, I checked in with the reception desk, they gave me my forms to fill out, as soon as I was finished with my forms I was called back to another waiting area to have an x ray done. I checked in there, sat down, pulled out my phone thinking this is where I am going to be waiting forever to be seen, and just as soon as I opened my phone to read while i waited the x ray tech called me back. I did my x ray and they pointed me to the end of the hall where I would meet the doctor. I was told to have a seat in his office by his nurse and she closed the door behind her. I said to myself, ok this is where the waiting begins. Reached in my pocket pulled out my cell phone and in walks the doctor, cell phone back in pocket. He reviewed my injury and made his recommendation. Afterward he sent me to the cast room where they put on a cast. Did I have to wait ? No. In and out in minutes, they even discharged me while I was being casted. I could not believe how fast and efficient this visit was. It was unlike anything I ever experienced at a Dr. office or hospital. I literally waited on nothing. On my day of surgery, I was in and out in amazing speed as well. There was no waiting around, most of the time was spent completing some part of the process with very minimal wasted time. I hope I never need to go back here but if I do, I will definitely. Not only is the patient care up to standard, so is the care for the patients time.
My mother had a knee replacement surgery here and the staff and doctors were wonderful and very attentive! A week later, my mom fell in the shower and broke the femur directly above the knee surgery. It was a horrible situation all around and my mother was in excruciating pain and my family completely shaken. I cant imagine a better hospital for her to be at. Even with a language barrier, the nurses and doctors did their best to explain everything in full and make my mom feel as comfortable as possible. I am so grateful to texas orthopedic and all its staff for taking such great care of my mom. The food is great, the rooms are great but i just cannot thank them enough for their amazing patient care!!
Dr. Stocks literally change my life!!!! The best hip replacement ever...I cannot say enough how thankful I am that GOD has blessed this man...
Got referred here by my other doctor. Was referred to Dr. Uday Doctor. No bedside manor, and staff is very unfriendly. The admin assistants are a joke. They cannot keep a schedule to save their own lives let alone a patient's. Finally get scheduled for a quick procedure with Dr. Doctor. I get pre registered, insurance approved, everything is handled, then less than 16 hours before my procedure a person from Capital Medical Management calls me and informed me that I need to give them a $400.00 deposit to have the procedure performed. Keep in mind I have met my deductible as well as all of my out of pocket expenses with my insurance company this year so everything is covered at 100% now. I ask what the "deposit" was for and they informed me that it is their policy to collect $400.00 from every patient undergoing anaesthesia in a procedure. They stated they must collect this deposit or else they would contact the Dr. and inform him that they will not be performing any anaesthesia during the procedure and the procedure would be cancelled and I would have to wait weeks to be rescheduled for the procedure.
They are clearly committing extortion on their patients. I called my insurance company and even they said do not pay anything till the procedure has been processed by the insurance company. This hospital and Dr. Doctors office is extremely shifty with their practices. I would warn others to stay away.
I don't know of any Dr.'s office that requires a deposit of any kind for anything. This was not a copay and clearly not something they ran through the insurance company. Will not return to this facility due to this. We are also filing complaints with the local news hoping they expose this place for what it really is.
