My mother is currently in this hospital, on her third day. She can’t eat and they still haven’t figured outs what’s wrong with her. I requested ice and an extra pillow twice for my mother and that was an hour ago...... still have not received it. They are more than likely short staff which causes the nurses to be rude no doubt. We are strongly considering taking my mother to a hospital in Houston.

If it was possible to leave a zero star rating I would have. This was the worst care I have ever received. The nurse came to the waiting room to discharge me and told me in front of the entire room what was wrong with me. Then she let me know the Dr wants me to follow up with my Dr for an MRI because they don't do mri's there. Even though they're a trauma center. When I asked what the MRI was for she said my neck pain..... I wasn't there for neck pain. But, what I was there for, you don't check with an MRI you do a lumbar puncture. GO TO ANY OTHER HOSPITAL!!!

Labor and delivery. I had a better than fantastic experience with the staff here. Came in 35 weeks pregnant with high BP and contractions. I had 3 nurses. Holly. Gosh I am so embarrassed I forgot her name but pregnancy brain I keep thinking Kema but dont think that is quite right. Kami! Kami was her name. And another nurse right at the beginning. They ALL seemed to care, asked about comfort and pain and were an advocate for me during my stay. I really hope I get s chance to be their patient again during labor. Thank all three of you again. Oh and even though Trina maybe the money collector for lack of better term she is attentive, caring, and funny!!

I will NEVER go to this hospital again. I went to the emergency room for severe hip pain to the point where I actually left work. After getting an X-Ray and 3 hours of waiting the so called doctor came in rudely and then spoke to me like I was a child (excuse me but I'm in my 40's) saying the emergency room was for life threatening pain! Then telling me you cant keep coming to the emergency room for this kind of pain. I DO NOT go to the emergency room unless something is seriously wrong, last time was almost a year ago for C-diff. I WILL NOT nor should anyone else be spoken to like this by some doctor, "Dr. E" should not be working in any emergency room! So the parent company of the Medical Center asked me to email my info to them so they may speak with me regarding my experience. I did this.... NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME! Like I said previously nope not going there again!

Trust what people say in their reviews about this hospital. It's very true. Took my son there Friday night with chest pains and breathing problems. They did blood pressure and ekg the nurse says let me get the dr to look at it and had us sit in the waiting room. Hours past and he was getting worse. Receptionist was not friendly at all, and when I asked how much longer, she looked like I has interrupted her sit down visit with her co worker. Attitude. Really? After waiting and him getting worse I got up and told her he needs help so I've got to take him somewhere to get that help. She just looked, as if to say "ok, good" . No care, no concern, and we left and went to a real hospital where they took very good care of him, got his blood pressure down to normal as well as his heart rate. Thank god!
