I wish I can give a 5 star review, but unfortunately I can't. My mother was in this hospital for almost a month. It seem like she got worse at times. We couldn't get any answers that matched up with the nurses and doctors. We had a nurse who's behavior was unethical poor on her part. Also the IV tech was so sloppy. My mom's IV got disconnected they said, and my mom hads lots of blood on her gown and blankets. We did report this. Also... the cafeteria was feeding my mom whom is on dialysis things she shouldn't have. This was the most stressful time for my mom and family. Now I'm not saying the whole hospital is awful because there was some good nurses on floor 5.

I have had 2 surgeries here in the past 3 years and today I had a bone marrow biopsy. Except for 1 complication I have had excellent service and care. From the Admission's Office to the wonderful Nurses, Aides and Laboratory Technicians, to the Cleaning and Maintenance Staff everyone is kind, helpful, and dedicated to their work. My doctors have been excellent also but as they are not employees of the hospital their reviews are on their own sites. I definitely recommend Torrance Memorial to all, especially now that they have partnered with Cedar Sinai.

Very difficult to work with. $6,000 bill for 30 minutes of care from a "technician". Be careful when doing anything outside of a doctors office as they can call it "facilities" and your high end insurance will hardly cover. The billing department is not willing to work with you in any fashion. They have a "no negotiation" policy with any patient regardless of the situation. Currently filing a complaint with the California Department of Health Care. Hope it goes well. Never using these facilities or recommending to anyone ever again. Thanks Torrance!

We had awesome experience. Very friendly staff, volunteers, doctors and likewise a great place for medical services. Unlike Cedar Sinai, which nickle and dimes for even breathing in their campus, Torrance Memorial only leaves behind a good memory.

One of their nurses gave me a stroke incident with an IV catheter. I believe this hospital is owned by a Japanese person. They gave me medications though, after she pushed catheter through my vein, that means it's done by the government. Japan and America, a weird relationship. They want to help and test each other. So, don't bring your family to this facility. If you are brought there against your will, they might be making you a patient first then take away your asset. Then the government will pay their bills with help from Japan.
